I went to the big D(Dallas) yesterday and you could buy regular unleaded for 2.51. My question is why is regular unleaded so high here in Oklahoma and Texas has a much higher gas tax?

I have a lot of oil and gas classes this semester and I was wondering the same thing, so I asked one of my professors. He said that we should be getting gas for about 2.60 and that the rise in price is probably due to transportation difficulties or lack of supply in OK.
