I think running againest Knoxville is a brilliant idea. He will get some of the lower funded teams that cant get the big motors that you need at Knoxville. Plus he is going to pay show up money to some of the fan favorites. The racing at Husets is every bit as good as Knoxville. The only thing Knoxville has over Husets is steep tradition. Money will out do tradition now days. Knoxville better up their game next year or they will have lower car counts, which is a real show killer. I commend Badlands for giving it a shot.

Talking to some of the teams, the show-up money isn't a good idea. It tells the lower-tier teams, or the ones that don't get money, that they are of lesser value. Also, you have to be careful of money trumping history. One thing drivers don't like is arrogance and making crass statements about a historic facility like Knoxville. Especially for no reason.
