Sunday is the cappy classic probably the best overall night of the week. 60-80 cars there in one night. Tuesday is usually when they run the outlaw karts at English creek south of Knoxvill.

English Creek is fun to watch. Missed it the past few years though. Last time I was there the young Haudenschild kid was Racing (Sheldon).  Only $5 to get in too. (take a lawn chair if you go)

I have never made it to English Creek (been by my the track, but never saw a race there,) but a buddy of mine went last year, and said it was well worth it.

eman22,   I believe some years during that 10 day time period there is racing (not sprint cars) during the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. Suggest you check their web site for details if you're interested.  Also suggest you make multiple visits to the Sprint Car Hall of Fame.  They always have an outstanding line up of fan forums plus autograph sessions in the Trostle Garage inside the museum.  Please remember when it's 90 degrees and humid outside the NSCHoF&M is well air conditioned and the movie theatre on the second floor shows racing videos throuhout the day.

Yes, this is as good as it gets in sprint car racing. A few years ago you used to be able to hit up Monday and Tuesday in Osky however USAC is on the ticket anymore for Tuesday. I really wish they'd bring this back as it was the only topless action I got all year lol.

I wish they would bring back the non-wing show. If they brought in USAC and co-sanctioned it with the WAR Series that runs out of Missouri they could have a decent car count OR they could make it a Silver Crown/Midget show and bring in the drivers running at the Belleville Midget Nationals (although Belleville is a week before the 360 Nationals this year). Midget guys might not be too keen on that though because it would be three nights on big motor eating tracks.
