only around a second off the ol mopar. Not bad. Thanks for a good effort

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Not hardly.  That track just fucking sucked tonight....  How in the hell can a track take rubber by the end of the middle/end of the 3rd heat race.  I was just plain disgusted.  As soon as I saw they weren't going to try to do anything about it other than run the EMM cars around I left.  Maybe I missed a stellar B and A main, but that just blew my fucking mind right there.

They had excellent weather all day, why did the track rubber up like that?  They had a good car count, no reason not to put on a good show.  They had a FULL PARKING LOT OF CARS, you would think they would have had it ready to go.

I went to that track once & never again! Slow as molasses, & my boyhood dirt track hero from the 1960s (Smokey Stover of Staunton, Va.) got hurt badly there

Buncha people on Twitter say it was the best race of the year.

What a race! 27, 48, and 51s are in their own league in Posse land this year. Lot of hard work put into Krimes' carnage to 9th place finish. Aaron Ott's career year continues. Sheldon looked good before the motor went sour. A vicious crash to the start race. I think the whole state held their breath on that one. Glad Glenndon, Freddie and Alan were okay.

Show was drawn out. No need to have a driver's meeting start at 7pm on a weeknight and time trials were anything but efficient but dang, I hope no one left before that feature.

Haven't been to Hagerstown in a few years and always enjoyed it when I did.  Based on the conversation here, Twitter, and what I saw on YouTube, that would have been an awesome show!  Glad to see the Black Bandit continue to roll!!

you cant do much track prep at htown, water it and wait for the sun to get off it before you put cars on it and thats what they did... made for a longer night but better than watching them race on an ice rink

The Wolfe and the 21 car(with 8 wins) haven't been too bad either.  Just watched the video from PAposseracing and it looked like a pretty stellar race track to me, good racing anyway.

Hagerstown's Speedweek show has ALWAYS started at 8pm, long before you've been coming to races.

Obviously young man u need to never ever attend another dirt track race in your life if that is your evaluation of a stellar program. 15 second time trials is hardly anything but a very well prepared track, not to mention that Hagerstown mabe the smoothest track always. The track had 2 distinct grooves which provided 1 of the most exciting races of the year. THAT MY FRIEND IS NOT CONDUSIVE TO YOUR DESCRIPTION OF RUBBERED UP TRACK!! Please save your $$$ & visit your local mall & shop for a new pair of glasses.

Wolfe and Ott have both had stellar years. At Lincoln and the Grove Montieth is absolutely in that conversation and will be in contention tonight and tomorrow for the win.

Yo, Anthony Corini, I don't know you, but...............you may be one smart white man.  Aaron Ott may be the next best thing (driver) in central PA 410 sprint cars.  Agressive, consistantly up front at the tracks he chooses to race at, good sponsors (I'm certain he could always use more), hard working young pit crew ( shout out to its leader Jake the Snake, a.k.a. Amy's boyfriend........marry the girl, dude).  Bottom line, Aaron's stock as a driver appears to be quickly heading up the PA Posse charts!  Meanwhile, Ya'al have a safe 4th of July.  I'm planning on hitting the best dirt track race in PA this evening............SSP!  That's right,  fan friendly admission and a race program that fits the track.................E-Mods.

Exactly. I was completely shocked when I read that. I don't know how in the hell anyone can cook up in their minds that the track took rubber. It never even showed signs of taking rubber at any point. In fact early in the program, I was concerned it would be TOO heavy and one grooved. Sprint car races simply don't come much better than what we saw at Hagerstown last night and talk about a perfect track surface, that was it right there. It was wide yet it was still fast which is a combination that rarely ever coexists anywhere other than Knoxville. I've seen some pretty radical shit on message boards but this guys rant takes the cake as the most ridiculous. Like I said in response to him, I really hope he was being sarcastic......or at least drunk off his ass. There has to be a suitable explanation for this.

It was close to perfect.  A slightly better cushion would have been cool but I'll take it.  I'm still grinning.  Its so good when they water it.  Makes it that much more frustrating when its an ice rink.
