I think it's about time other outlaw teams get their shit together. This dude is making an ass out of everyone else right now. Just saying.

The Outlaws are lucky to at least have one guy that is fast or else the locals would have really trounced them over the years, and they would probably be out of business by now, or Stewart would have had to swoop in and save them too.

There has been a $150,000 reward on Schatz's head at Knoxville for several years. All someone has to do is take it.

So since Schatz has been racing for awhile and hasn't tried his hand in asphalt he should win in a Sprint Car? He is taking away from everything that every great Sprint Car driver has accomplished. So since Steve, Mark Kinser, Dave Blaney, Sammy all couldn't get it done on asphal that makes them less of a racer then gordan, Larson, bell, and abreu? 3 of which haven't even been in asphalt long enough to say they made it. And if Schatz should be winning because that's all he's ever did is race dirt then why aren't guys like Pittman, Saldana, Madsen, Sides, Mcmahon all doing what schatz is doing?  His statement totally minimized what the 15 is doing and what any other great Sprint Car driver has done because a couple great talents went to asphalt and of everyone you've named how many have stayed in NASCAR? Bash me if you want but if you want to be pro NASCAR there's different forums for that. To me you took a swing at sprint car racing and everything the great drivers and crew men have built.

Exactley, there is no recipe for what makes someone an outstanding sprintcar driver. you can take 100 other guys and give them exactly what Steve Kinser had, same crew, equipment, same everything and there will still only be one King, you may have some guys with good results but they will all be missing one ingrediant, Steve Kinser.  Donny Schatz is the best because he is the best right now, and I would bet that if all the drivers on the woo tour picked crew chiefs and cars out of a hat, it wouldnt matter which car or which crew chief, the same guys would be up front and Donny would still get the most wins and the championship.

I hang with a lot of nascar guys down here in the South and they've told me Donny has been offered multiple rides in Nascar and turned them all down.

All he cares about are winged 410 sprint cars...

I have been a fan of Donny's since he was racing go carts out by Springbrook ND. It was so great seeing him win his first Nationals after so many 2nd's.  What really impresses me is that now there are so many cars with top notch equipment. Back in the day when the woo started racing at Red River Valley Raceway you almost knew Steve, Sammy or Doug were going to probably win. I also think Donny gets a bad rap sometimes. My wife was shooting in an archery tournament in Pensylvania a couple years ago and he was staying at the same hotel. I bet I talked hunting with him for about an hour. I have never been around him when he has been rude. We always say hi to his mom at the trailer when we go to the outlaws  Danny and Diane have always been nice to us. What he is doing this year is probably one of the best if not the best in Woo history. Do you agree or have I drank to much North Dakota punch?
