well I made it back from Knoxville. Wow. Had a great time
1. Knoxville is BIG
2. thanks to all the people who gave me advice etc
3. glad to see schilling and the other guy(cant spell that name) walk away from that wreck
4. that fog was something else
5. pork tenderloin sammich was very good
6. schatz is good
7. Ill be back:-)
8. Bought a sammy swindell #41 shirt for my ma...the lady in JJR's merchandise trailer was really nice.
9. I guess next road trip would be either eldora or williams grove

MandGRacing96, If possible make your next trip to Knoxville for the Knoxville Nationals. You'll find it to be a great experience.

I don't know when they changed the pork fritters into a processed square (late 90's I think) , but they used to be better.
Still pretty darn good, but used to be better.

Pork fritters that are sold near the media room under the front grandstand at Nationals are only about 1 Billion times better. Best I've ever had, and its not even close!

I agree with you TMC1. They have a fritter with cole slaw on it that is amazing. Great place to eat as you watch Winged Nation live.
