For those who have not heard, we lost a family member last week when Don Weaver passed away from complication of Leukemia. He was involved in racing since he left the military in the early 50's.
He was at Wendy Michnowicz and my wedding, he was there when Darrell Michnowicz, our first born, arrived and was there when Kevin came into this world too.
He was there when we raced in Central and Norther Cal with NARC and WoO , he was there when we came back to CRA and ran non wing again, he was there when my Dad got sick and left us, he was there at every birthday, Xmas and all other family events. I think all that makes him family.
He shared his racing stories with us, and I particularly liked the fact he was a "stooge" for Billy Vukovich, the orignal !! He will be missed, but not forgotten for sure.
