Peter Murphy is looking for sponsors to support the “2nd Annual Peter Murphy Classic” on July 25th. Held at Tulare’s Merle Stone Chevrolet Thunderbowl Raceway, Murphy hopes to double the regular USAC West Coast Sprint Car purse to $3,000-to-win and $400-to-start the feature. In addition, Peter wants to have a special “dash for cash” for the top-four qualifiers and other bonuses.
