The first must-see sprint car event of the year hits the high banks of Waynesfield Raceway Park
in Waynesfield, Ohio this Saturday, May 23. The Howard Johnson Inn of Lima, home of the
Waynesfield Raceway Park racers discount, presents the 2015 Memorial Classic featuring the K&L
Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders and the Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt. Last year's installment
brought a field of over thirty 360-sprint cars representing both series in a battle for
bragging rights. Saturday's meeting will be the first of four total events for the winged
warriors with one being the 4th Annual Bob Reynolds Memorial on Independence Day weekend. The
Buckeye Machine Non Wing sprints cars will also headline the racing program Saturday giving
fans a taste for both winged and wingless sprints. Waynesfield's very own Block Insurance Tough
Trucks and Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts are also on the schedule. Pit gates swing open at
4PM; grandstands at 5PM. Cars hit the racing surface at 6PM for hot laps with racing following
at 7PM. Adult general admission is just $15. Seniors are admitted for a discount of $12.
Children ages 11 to 15 are admitted for just $6 with everyone under the age of five admitted
