The World Of Outlaws Sprintcars are scheduled to race at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park on Saturday Nite Oct 10 2015 of Super Dirt Week, but at Present time The Track is in LIMBO with no real news happening there. Can Anyone Confirm this race is going to happen & if not would they consider moving it to Weedsport Speedway on Saturday October 10 2015?

Thanks for any answers Smile

Good news for RWR as Glenn Donnelly is taking the track back over to manage for 2015.

Track no longer in limbo. Press release doesn't address the Outlaw show.

Ticket renewals go out June 1st, tickets on sale to the general public on June 15. (I announced that at Weedsport Sunday night.)

Will they put water on the track? Isn't it always rubber down by feature time?

Donnelly is already talking about his plans to mix his synthetic dirt (SYNDI) into the track.  He seems to think that it will be the best thing for the future of Dirt racing, and maybe it will.  However, they did a test at Brewerton in New York about 2 years ago, and it sounds like it was pretty much a failure then and even after it was removed it took almost a year for the track surface to recover.

While I am glad to see the Rolling Wheels find someone who is willing to keep it going, and Donnelly is about as credible a promoter as there has ever been in New York racing, I doubt the Outlaws want to be the guinea pigs for an unproven type of racing surface.  WIll be interesting to see what happens.
