With all the incredible effort being put out by the PA guys, we have got to do the best job ever to really show how much we appreciate their abilities and passion.  We should drive only non American cars to the Grove all weekend.  Toyotas and VWs will be great but if you really want to give a Fast Freddie-type effort bring your IKCO Samand.  Its a great vehicle from Iran with ISIS roots.  For a Greg-type effort, a Mitsubishi would be sweet since they built the Japanese Zeros that bombed us at Pearl Harbor. If you have only American stuff, ride with a friend.  For you guys that only go to get drunk make sure you are drinking Tsingtao Chinese beer... no Bud or Coors.  Lets make it the best spring swing ever!

Also if you happen to see Jack Elam, Brian Schnee, Mark Smith, Chuck Merrill, Ken Jenkins, Tommy Sanders, Bobby Allen or Bob Trostle make sure you obviously ignore them to show you could care less about thier tireless contributions or the rich heritage of our once great sport.

Ok.  I'll take the bait.

Should I bring the Toyota that was made in Kentucky?  Or the one that was made in Texas?  Or the one that was made in Indiana?

Why can't I drink Bud or Coors?  Bud merged with InBev to form Anheuser Busch-InBev which is headquartered in Belgium.  Coors is run by MillerCoors which is a joint venture between SABMiller (based in England) and Molson (based in Canada).

Doesn't Bobby Allen's own team run the very xXx chassis that you so despise?

How do you think we started as a country and worked our way into becoming a super power?  It didn't happen overnight.  Here's just one example.  What was our leading export throughout the entire 19th century?  Cotton, you guessed it.  All those laborers back then were very well compensated for their labor, weren't they?  Oh wait... yeah... slaves.  I forgot about those dudes.  Even post-Civil War, the sharecropping system that took slavery's place, kept the cotton churning and those farmers barely made enough to scrape by.

China is simply doing what any other nation does when it attempts to make its mark on the world.  They do it by any means necessary.  Others did it and so did we.  Today its simply a global economy and companies will try to make a profit any way they can.  That's capitalism.

(If you'll excuse me I'm now going to go and slam my head in the filing cabinet repeatedly until I pass out.)

Bobby Allen obviosly does not agree with you or didnt you notice that his son and nephew are both driveing the Pa Posse flagship XXX chassis. You act like these chassis guys didnt make any money off their tireless contributions, not to mention these men were not building these chassis with the rich heritage in mind, they were trying to go faster to win more races and sell there chasssis to make a living doing what the loved, stop trying to throw a guilt trip on people who work hard for their money and want the best product for that money regardless of where its manufactured.  I catch a ton of flack on here for being a smart ass blah blah blah, but i have never started a thread with the sole intention of stirring shit up, you are whats wrong with this message board.

Curious how a car that was developed in 1996 can have "roots" with an extremist group founded in 1999. But then again, it's just mindless babbling from our resident Ford fanboy. Of course, he has no problem using a computer that wasn't made in the US of A.

Hey now! You know the rules of American exceptionalism, it doesn't matter what we did, it was right and those other stupid foreigners are wrong and we should probably go start a war with them because they ain't American! 2 time world war champs bitches! All kidding aside, you're dead on. These holier than thou idiots seem to forget what kind of nasty and disgusting things we did as a country to get where we are. We haven't always been here and there was a time when we were a lot like they are. I'm not saying it's right but those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Just because it was 100+ years ago doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

You need to brush up on history. The Zero was a fighter and did not carry bombs at Pearl Harbor. The Kate dropped bombs and launched torpedos while the Val did the dive bombing.

My father went ashore on Omaha beach and fought all the way to the Elbe river. He was surrounded at Bastogne during the battle of the bulge. He forgave the german people a long time ago!

The folks in Japan building cars now had nothing to do with ww2. The men who owned the factories that built war planes etc are all dead now. Let it go! Must we blame the children and grandchildren for the sins of one generation? Do you want to be held responsible for slavery in early America?

For a very long time the USA was the worlds biggest exporter. People all around the globe bought and used American made products. Where would we be if they had not? Do you want to return to the days of protectionism and tarriffs? That was proven not to work.

I wonder if any Japanese people ever fly on an airliner built by Boing? Since it was Boing built B29's that burnt many cities in Japan to the ground killing hundreds of thousands of civilians during the fire bomb raids in 1945. I'm sure they do.

Since we are basing everything off a war almost 80 years ago;

I think everyone from an Allied country except the USA attending the race tonight at the Grove should show up on time.  Everyone from the USA should show up to the Grove at least 2 hours late.  In those 2 hours, the USA folks should manufacture products and sell it for huge profits to those other countries already involved.

3/9/1939: Britain, France, Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa declare war on Germany
10/9/1939: Canada declares war on Germany
8/12/1941: USA declare war on Japan

Did the USA miss the memo in 1939?  Even Canada supported the rest of the world almost 2 years before the USA joined.  And we all know what a bunch of pussies Canadians are.

Another little history lesson ... China fought with the Allied Forces.  And suffered huge losses compared to the US.

Country Military Deaths Civilian Deaths Total Deaths
Due to War
Allies
China 2,000,000 7,750,000 9,750,000
USA 405,500 - 405,500

Excellent points I must say but it's impossible to say running cars built by communists that will never buy a lolly pop at a dirt track is better than one from our tax paying neighbor that has given his whole life to the sport.

Chinese sky scrapers and Americas debt grow at the exact rate. No big deal though.

Y'all don't worry about all this stuff with Minthess.  One of these days I'm sure a XXX chassis will win a sprint car feature somewhere with a Ford engine.   I know it'll take awhile since Fords rarely ever win anything in sprint car racing, but when it does happen he'll be all happy with it then....

Another thought.   I sure hope Toyota or Honda never develop a sprint car V8 that would run with the 410 Chevies.  He'll have a stroke if a XXX were to win with a foreign engine.

Lol that would be a dilema. By the way if Mark Smith ever starts building computers or sneakers, I'll be the first in line.

Hey fasterin3, i think you may have been joking but if not you need to research the Canadian soldier.  As in hockey players they don't make 'em any tougher and there are many stories of the same should you research, sorry for the interuption to this silliness....
