I was just curious how much Husets is paying to win cause $28 is a little steep for a regular show sanctioned by the NSL when a $10000 to win show is cheaper to get into. Owners must be trying to get out rich this year. I just thought I was seeing things or drank the kool aid to early.

Yea maybe it's a little high but no event they run is under 3000 to win, and hey if this things going to be successful they need to make money the entry fee for these events are sanctioned with the NSL as well, let's just be thankful we finally have an awesome series near by all the time, we need this to keep growing to bring sprint car racing back to life, best sport in the world so let's be happy with what we have!

Ticket prices were the same for the NSL show at 34 Raceway about a month ago ($28). There were a couple of threads on here then with people commenting (bitching) about that. It was a little pricey, but it's worth it from time to time to see a good show. I was at 34, and it was by all accounts, a good show. Super Chuck summed it up about as good as anybody in one of those threads. I found it -- copied & pasted here:
Maybe Super Chuck looks at things a little different, but ticket prices aren't a deal breaker for a chance to see a good show. Does Super Chuck prefer to pay $15? Sure. Does he stay home because it's $25? Hell no. The day he looks at ticket prices and decides to stay home is the day that Super Chuck buys a rocking chair and starts yelling at kids for walking on his lawn.
You had the innagural NSL event, LOADED field of talent, at a bad ass racetrack <3 hours from home? And you stayed home? Wow. That just shows how spoiled us Knoxville fans are having such a great race track in our backyard.
Super Chuck and Mrs. Chuck found a sitter for the baby Chucks and rolled out. Dropped 70 bones on pit passes and had a fantastic time and saw a pretty good race. Got back to the house at 2 AM and never regretted it for a second.
Shout out to Tod and his crew for putting this deal together. Super Chuck wishes the series nothing but the best of luck. One note that hasn't been publicized (but should be) was the fact that they brought in the traveling fire crew from Sioux Falls (Team Extreme?) for the event and it sounds like they will be at all of the NSL shows. First class decision to protect your guys.
Super Chuck

I'll make the 8 hr drive from Nebraska plop my $90 down and enjoy a awesome show that is not WOO. I just thought 3000 was the weekly 410 purse is all.

I would hope Huset's pay for that NSL race is higher back in the field and higher starting money. They just about always run 6 classes of cars at a weekly show.

Husets should eliminate 3 classes that night, I'm sure they won't because they want to keep people there all night to slop up beer and eat rot-gut hotdogs. It's a crime to charge $28 and make you sit there for 5 hours.
Still love husets

Exactly!
I'm fine with paying $28 to get in if there is only ONE support class.
To pay $28 for the special show and have to sit through the whole weekly show worth of crap, well, I'll probably go but I doubt my wife will want to go.
So right there they lost one ticket sale, whether I take my boys along or not I'm not sure as I really dread taking them along to the races when the probability is high that the races won't get over till midnight. If I leave those 2 at home they lose two kids ticket sales and a bunch of concessions. When I go to the track by my self I never visit the concession stand, if I take my wife and kids I usually end up spending $20-30 at the concession stand.
So it goes like this.
If the races were likely to be done by 10:30 and my wife and kids came along the Rubins would get to sell
2 adult tickets = $56
2 kids tickets = $10
Concession stand = $20
Total with wife and kids in tow = $86
Total if I go by myself = 1 adult ticket = $28
I guess I should thank the Rubins for saving me $58 by keeping the wife and kids at home.

haha... confused indeed! I copied & pasted Super Chuck's thoughts from a previous thread..... one that had the same bitching about the price of admission for an NSL race.

Husets only charged $25 for the Allstars and they paid $5000 to win with basically the same purse. Plus they upped the backgate for the regular shows. Evidently they haven't learned along with alot of other promoters that fans are getting smart to their scams and are willing to stay away in drooves again.....
