Alrighty folks! Let's all start those positive waves going to make sure that Thunder in the Plains tomorrow night at Eagle Raceway goes off without a hitch. Chances of that liquid sunshine have lessened all week, so let's keep Mother Nature at bay so we can go racing!!!!
The FVP National Sprint League hits the high banks for the first night of the $20,000 Durst Motorplex challenge. Can any driver conquer both "America's Home Track" and the "Mecca of Sprint Car Racing" at Knoxville to take home that big bonus??
Who are your picks to have a shot at it??
Front gates swing open at 6:15 with hot laps at 7, time trials at 7:30 and racing at 8:00. Adult front gate admission is just $18, youths 6-12 are only $5 and children 5 and under are free.
Pit gates open at 5 o'clock and pit passes are $30.
Come out and be a part of just the second ever NSL event!!
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

I just talked to Roger Haden from Eagle Raceway. They received about (8) inches of rain in the last (24) hours and are monitoring the situation. They are going to continue to get me updates as the day goes on and I will pass them along. As of right now, the races are ON! If anything changes, I will post it here as well as the NSL facebook page.
Also, the weather forecast, as of this morning, looks great for Knoxville for this Saturday night. Let's hope we can get some races in. Stay tuned...z

Thanks for the updates. I went to Osky last night to get a fix but am hoping to head to Eagle tomorrow from Knoxville to get my 410 fix. Keep us updated. Thanks.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

The local weatherman just said that there is a small chance of rain tonight but seemed like it is unlikely. That's what I like to hear on raceday!
