I think Sat. night paid $600 to start. The Dream Race at Port Pays $1000 to start, I am sure the Williams Grove National Open Pays $ 1000 to start I am not sure about the Summer National. Some are mistaken about the reason the Posse doesn't travel as much as they once did, It started to get to the point where other regions were taking our top teams six eight weeks a year. Travel cost is one reason, another is that the Pa. promoters decided enough was enough and stated Speedweek and many of these other higher paying races to keep the local teams home. $1000 is not going to make many tow half way across the country. They all know only one will get the $10,000.

Why would you exclude the premier drivers in sprint-car racing in front of 20,000 plus fans? People come from all over the country and the world to the Nationals so they can see the best drivers in action. Its already an atrocity that the Outlaws only make it to Knoxville one time a year now.

I think once a year is enough. I think the regular saturday night shows are most often better than the outlaw show anyway.

but..... how about a special race FRi. nite at Knoxville Nats, open entry, with ZERO fulltime OUtlaws allowed? That would include all US region plus "down under" (OK, Canada too, eh?)

Hmmm.......I like the concept.   Make it pay deep instead of being top-loaded to the winner.  May draw some extra cars to the Nationals if they were invited to a guaranteed payday.  ?????           You don't necessarily need to exclude the Outlaws--just make the event an invite based on points in numerous regions/regional series.  No outlaws would be chasing points in these regions anyways.   There would be a lot to making something like this happen--what constitutes a regional tour vs. a national tour?--what regions or tracks would qualify?   But I do like the idea.  The World Challenge has become dry.  I don't know if this would be much different, but some regional drama every year with a chance for each area to pound their chest would be kind of cool.

Outlaws run in almost every race in 4 days of Kville Nats, we get to see plenty of them. I was responding to the original suggestion of a region vs. region championship. So that would pit guys who mostly run local tracks in various regions. Outlaws would totally confuse the whole concept, they're not regional

As much of a pipe dream as it sounds, this could easily become a reality. There is no racing on Tuesday of Nationals week anymore, McCarl could add this event then. Might even help car count at Knoxville if it enticed more PA and Cali cars.

You could run a standard All Star or NSL purse, and try to get people from the various regions to pony up some incentives. I could see some PA folks putting up X number of dollars if Posse wins, and then inspire Cali folks to do the same. You could probably even do a GoFundMe encouraging fans to put a few bucks towards the incentives per region. Would be a fun, interactive event.

Only issues I see with it, would drivers/car owners want to run an event the day before the Nationals? Also, could you get enough cars from PA, Cali, Ohio to make it a worthwhile event?

No event needed.  Just check to see who has the most components made oversees by communits and slaves instead of our friends next door that have dedicated their whole life to our sport.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint

Guess then the posse realy is the best since most all thier fast guys and A main winners run commie chassis. You must be like cubicdollars...not one thing in your house has a label that says made in china. Right? Better look again, bet you will find some. And a lot of parts in your american built car are made in Canada.

This shouldn't be so difficult. One more time: How often go you get to see CALIFORNIA & PENNSYLVANIA locals? That was the original idea
