All engines retain factory GM security bolts and have an additional 6 point high security secondary seal installed that is registered and documented to further the integrity of the program

GM 604 Crate Sprint Engine Program
Pace Performance/ Race 1/ Blackshear Racing Engines

Base GM 604 Engine Package
w/ rear cam accessory drive installed, including balance hub w/drive yoke. $6,250.00

Entry level Complete 604 engine package includes
Pace Performance/ GM 604 Sprint Engine:
~With rear cam accessory drive installed, balance hub including drive yoke,
~HD Alum water pump, Alum V groove pulley kit w/belts,
~Fuel pump & Thermostat block off plates, Water fittings
~ Holley 750 cfm Alcohol carb ARP carb stud kit, Bypass regulator, Carb fittings w/fuel log
~ Carb spacer plate w/ linkage kit
~Washable Air filter kit,
~Taylor/Vertex Mag w/wires, NGK spark plugs
~Blackshear/ETI 7000 rpm rev limiter
~Schoenfeld spec headers, 8qts Break-in oil w/Wix racing filter.

All parts and engine are race prepped including Dyno break-in and tuning.
Complete Total Package Cost $ 10,250.00
Package does NOT include: fuel pump, power steering pump,fuel lines, water lines or mufflers.

Elite package upgrade: Stealth Custom Carburetor, Aeromotive bypass regulator, KRC water pump, KRC serpentine pulley kit w/tensioner, R2C air filter kit. Add $1850.00

My only question is WHY...With the growing success of the IMCA Racesaver Engine all over the U.S. AND 2 OTHER COUNTRIES WANTING THEM...WHY do we need another engine.?

Is this a new class or an alternative to an existing platform? Where will this engine be legal? What kind of performance, torque/horsepower?

They run them in California as a wing class at Chico and Marysville. They did run them in Oregon at Sunset Speedway, they do run them at Coos Bay and Medford only these have sprint car type injection but run a thottle body... They now run the 305's at Kings Speedway and St Maria in California.

The biggest advantage compared to the Racesaver program is that all 604 engines cost the same where there can be a ten thousand dollar difference in legal Racesaver engines.

i know nobody ever likes it when they are told where they have to get there engine, but IMHO thats the problem with the racesaver glass. when they started this class they should have had there own engines built like the legend cars do, all engines coming from the same place. That's the only way they could have kept the class cheap as intended. But they didn't do that now look at the 305s it's kinda a joke really. The crate deal would be 100% better of a class then the 305s, way more cost effective and the racing would be even and tight and the drivers would win the races not motors aka $$$$. They could be on too something here, just to bad someone didn't think of it before the 305s got big. Just my opinion

as one poster pointed out the price stays consitant but to add so does the engine

there are NO choices for internal components or dimension it is GM and they are all single digits within each other on power

one of the biggest areas of question/concern with the GM sealed circle track crate engine has been the seal itself and the fact that there are counterfit seals available.

we have elected to step up the seal program on every engine in this program

the original GM seals do remain in place but a high security double logo cable seal system is also installed in 6 locations

1 on each head --2 on the intake--1 on the timing cover and 1 on the oil pan

further more each seal is wrapped with a tampere evident foil tape that is logo and QR coded for easy access to the documentation on the website

each engine is issued a build # which is stamped into the intake

all the seal #'s and locations along with serial # information and customer name is available for anyone to see on our website ----which makes the tech process much more accurate and quicker.
