Blackjack Brian Brown will carry the flagship colors for FVP Performance at this weekend's FVP Western Spring Shootout. Brown recently captured his 2nd career World of Outlaws victory, which came at the Tuscon Raceway in Arizona just a couple weeks back. The Grain Valley, Missouri wheel-man claimed last November's World of Outlaws World Finals at the Dirt Track in Charlotte for his first ever series win.
Brown has climbed the ladder to become one of the very best in the business and will be searching for his first California triumph at the Stockton Dirt Track this Saturday & Sunday. Last season he raced to 14 overall wins, including the Knoxville 360 Nationals and the Front Row Challenge. He also ran second at the Knoxville Nationals for the third straight season.
FVP, a premier producer of high quality original equipment auto products, returns as title sponsor for the spring weekend destination event at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds facility, where each night will be a separate points-paying race for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Please note special starting times for this weekend. Saturday March 21: Ticket Sales/ Will Call opens at noon, Front gate opens at 4pm, Cars on track at 5:15, Qualifying at 6 & first heat race at 7. Sunday March 22: Ticket Sales/ Will Call opens at noon, Front gate opens at 3pm, Cars on track at 4:15, Qualifying at 5 & first heat race at 6.
Delta Speedway, also located on the Fairgrounds, will be running a special Micro race on Friday March 20, making it a three-night happening on the property. World of Outlaws point leader Shane Stewart is entered in the event. There is also a post race party in the works for Saturday night following the races, along with a breakfast on Sunday morning. During the day on Saturday & Sunday there will be a live band & car show behind the grandstand area, so make plans to arrive at the track early.

The Stockton Dirt Track is a lightning fast 3/8 mile clay oval located on the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton, California.
