Video looks really good so far with multiple cameras and some nice graphics. Tonight is sprint practice and mortifieds.. but beats anything else on TV. Schrader and Herman are there and Schrader has the pole for the first heat.

Free ?

Audio is free - as always. Video is a bargain compared to having to drive there and buy a ticket. And is comparitively priced to other series/sources. If you think it should be free ... you are more than welcome to assemble a crew and equipment and do it yourself... your viewing public thanks you in advance... Smile

I just want to know of dirtvision has done anything to better their live feed? Like HD?? I cant be for certain. But I buy almost all of these love shows and if I remember correctly, dirtvision had more trouble than most.  XsanTV is well worth paying for. Most of these other, have not been.

It's not full HD quality .. but quite an improvement over what it used to be. With the large number of subscribers they get - I'd imagine they are trying to err on the side of caution since they don't have a Netflix-sized server farm to feed everyone. I was watching on my projector and it looked fine... on a smaller display it would look even better.

The stream was rock solid without any buffering at all last night.  There were two main cameras, two static speed shots - flagstand and inside frontstretch -, roving pit camera with Blake Anderson reporting and tonight they are adding the inside turn three camera. They also added some very nice graphics for lineups etc. Overall everything looked and sounded great.

I know. I just like hearing some people say the price is a bargian compared to actually going to Florida to watch in person. If my NFL Sunday Ticket subscription was priced the same way as these pay per veiws, I'm sure I wouldn't be subscribing to it either. I always bought the $69.99 per year deal with DirtVision . Now i won't buy any pay per veiws because the prices are way out of line.

Most tracks allow spectators to watch practice sessions free of charge up in my neck of the woods.  I understand what you're saying about the crew and all but free streaming practice sessions have coaxed $25 out of a cheap guy like me more than once.  A teaser just might do that for this weekend.  It's going to be damn cold here in Minnesota this weekend.  Netflix, Amazon Prime and a ton of cable channels could conceivably be pushed aside if they hung a carrot in front of me.  wink

Sprints were practicing .. but the mortifieds had a full night of racing. The Sprint package is $79.99 .. for SIX nights (including practice night). That's considerably less than XSAN was charging per night last weekend ... in fact just about half.

So frustrated with dirtvision.  I've been buying live feeds for years now.  I first purchased a PS3 so I could stream it through the PS3 to my tv. That worked for about a year.n then they changed something so the PS3 wouldn't be compatible... went and purchased a BlackBerry tablet last year. Worked fine with DV last year. It streamed thecushion.com and xsan.tv perfectly....  but good ole dirtvision went and changed something again!!! So now what. Hey dirtvision. What can I go purchase that will work for a couple years to come.  You have a lesser quality product than thecushion.com and XsanTV and I can stream them just fine. Whats the deal!!??!!

While I am not sure exactly which player XSAN is using, I do know that The Cushion and DIRTVision.com use the same video player because we share and partner on technology with one another.

We are streaming in the same formats we have been for the last 2 years.   There is a good chance that since last year your Blackberry tablet has had an update and that its native browser are no longer supporting flash.   I know that the same thing happened with the PS3 early last year.   You shouldn’t need to buy a new device, only change the browser you are using.   A quick google search of browsers that support flash on your particular device should point you in the right direction.  If you have any questions or need help please don’t hesitate to contact our technical support team at [email protected].

As far as mobile devices that will play broadcasts natively, all iOS with up to date operating systems work well.     For streaming to a TV, an Apple TV works (when airplayed from a mac or iOS device) as does Google Chrome Cast (when being pushed to from a PC with Google Chrome.)  Again If you have any questions or please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

Thank you for the kind words Phil.   We can’t thank everyone that has tuned in the last two nights enough for their support.   We are looking forward to and excited about the next 10 nights and the 2015 season.

I couldn't get the audio to play on my iPhone last night.  It worked fine last year.  I could hit the "listen" button and it went to the next page but the "play" arrow showed for a second and then disappeared.  I never could get it to work.  It worked on my laptop just fine.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

You should be able to hit refresh and as soon as the page loads hit the "Play" arrow.

Yeah I tried all that last night.  The Play arrow basically just flashed and disappeared.  Never seen it do that before.  I'll see what happens tonight.  Thanks.
