Was down there taking in the festivities last Sat. night amongst all the rain and by the way pretty good racing even with no sprints on the card.

But George if your out there and reading this need to fix the hump as you enter Turn 1 , Seems it has always been there but seems it is worse now than ever, seen Modified and Street Stock Rearends coming off the ground as they are entering and setting the car to enter turn 1 , with the Rollout and soft Torsion bars we run on the sprints , might not be a good combo with the big hump , I see Left Rear lower rails banging into the track and causing some issues which will eliminate cars and cost money to fix.

Sure did like the Cheeseburgers at OSP,very tasty, but OSP needs to serve Ice Tea .

That bus frame with no body on it with the big moster truck tires on the back is pretty cool too. Heck of a track packer.

The bump was noticable last time the sprints were there. I couldn't see the bump, but I could see the cars go up in the same spot every time.

Hey,

I know that the hump in turn one might be a problem, but I know that as long as we do not get flooded down here OSP will work very hard on that track. I don't know if any of you was around the track last year, but from what I saw and heard the track was the best it had ever been. Saying that we should have had the same track this year, but as week all know we had a lot of rain, and at one time there was water run under the top layer of track, and there was nothing that could have been down with out shutting down the track for 2 weeks or something like that.

So please do not let the hump in turn one cause you not to come, they will work on it very hard from this point on, so pray we don't get flooded and we should have some great racing.

Robert Sellers, and possibly Shane Sellers, are planning on making the trip, but not sure exactly which cars they will be running as of yet.

dude that's what I thought too. But considering all 4 tracks that run champs are off that saturday and if the sfs regs make a good showing than it should be a great race. Better than creek, because creek will only run 1 class in support and it will probably be a micro sprint class. It's my understanding OSP is runnin a reg. show along with OCRS. What the ocrs guys are tryin to do is a great thing. Where else will champ sprints be able to run for 225$ to start the A? Or even 100$ to not make it? By all means the OCRS guys will show. If you look at the points than not only Passmore and Smith and Essary but also Goodman should be there. Hopefully a couple Lawton guys come out along with BMS and Creek champ sprinters. Every track should have some there to represent it. And hopefully a lot fo the sfs reg make the tow. It's really not that far........and the track officials and ocrs officials alike actually appreciate each and every driver they get. So it should be a nice change for sfs drivers. I imagine Burns will run it (he took it to em at the last ocrs/ada race). But it would be great to also see Sellers, Guinn, Danny Jennings (why not?), Tyler Johnson, and even Michelle Decker go race it........among many others. It's one race that many drivers should attend to make it a real competition between a lot of drivers from their respective areas. And fans should too..........they're trying to make it an annual deal so the fans should help kick it off proper.

Considering the payouts at the 4 weekly tracks......and more importantly the treatment received at 2 of em...........champ sprint drivers and teams should really support OCRS as its a great deal for them and sprint car fans in the south central part of the state - all of the state really. For champ sprints.......ocrs offers the best payout in the state. and they are darn good fellas too. fans and drivers alike need to make it happen!

I would imagine there will be a pretty good car count with no place else running, is the hump entering turn 1 smoothed out?

That could be and I really hope so for George's sake. But one thing I have learned by doing this deal is that you can never take drivers words as the Gospel as they tell you one thing and do another. Always better to tell the safe car count rather than what you expect.

I will be there unless I am asked to cover the NCRA late model show in Nebraska for them on Saturday night. My schedule right now is the opening night of the Street Stock Nationals in Enid on Friday night, either Ada or Nebraska on Saturday night and back at Enid on Sunday afternoon.

40 to 50 with talk like that CCC aka OKCFan12 is salivating at the mouth and has a lump in his shorts, It's all about car counts in CCC's world , hell he might have to go down and stay on Hwy.3 Friday night to get a good seat.

George better make another pot of Chili for the Nachos , there could be a few more spectators in attendance.

Is George serving Ice Tea yet?
