Doug Bushey on facebook. "Congrats to Kyle Larson on his triumphant return to Winged 410 Sprint Car Racing, as he narrowly beat "The Black Bandit" Stevie Smith and "The Dude" Danny Lasoski in tonight's Winter Heat Feature event at Cocopah Speedway in Yuma, Arizona. Hell of a race! The new daddy hadn't raced this type of car in over a year, but was wicked fast last night right out of he box. Unfortunately, contact with an anxious competitor on the first lap of the first heat race would set him back and put him behind all evening. Tonight he got to visit a familiar place..."Parking It" in Victory Lane!"

Apparently none of you looked at the picture? It is rather obvious the rear axel is broken. No Sherlock Holmes needed for this one.

By looking at the photo. you cannot tell if the axel broke before the crash or from the crash!

The report is broke axle going into turn three and went for a ride. This is the same side he got hit on during fridays main when he spun.

Saturday night was the best winged 410 race I have seen since the 1998 US Dirt Nationals Dash at I-55....Incredible! Stevie Smith proved why he is one of the best in the business and that he still has "it".....Danny Lasoski/Guy Forbrook will be a force to be reckoned with in 2015, after speaking with him, he is more motivated than I have ever seen...Oh...Larson is a freak of nature.....

I saw the footage and agree...Larson showed why he is not David Gravel.

Was that the Dash for a million dollars, or so it seemed? Possibly every car led at some point? Wildest 10 laps I've ever seen. Has it really been that long ago? Wow.

That was fun. Larson kept bumping the turn 2 cushion including that very last lap, so Smith could close that epic finish.
