Its only a round of the track championship but theres 60 410's showing up! Congrats to Valvoline Raceway.

Youtube search for "Sydney Speedway" to find the tracks channel with its internet show, "Friday Night Slide" for event coverage. Certainly seems Valvoline Raceway is the place to be this summer down under.

The only time I've ever seen 60 410 sprint cars was at Knoxville for the nationals.  Saw 47 once.

Long time reader, first time poster.

I'm really looking forward to Saturday night at Valvoline Raceway.  The new owners have made great improvements and it is really exciting to see all of the changes this year at the speedway.  The new 430 sq foot big screen in the infield is a hit along with the new concrete work, 1st Turn Judge's Bar and children's play area.

I encourage our friends in the Northern Hemisphere to come out of the cold this winter to see some great racing at VR and other speedways in Australia.  You will see great racing and great drivers.  After Christmas you should see Tim Kaeding, Brad Sweet, Jac Haudenschild, Kerry and Ian Madsen at VR along with some very competitive Australian-based drivers.

I spent two Winters based out of Valvoline Raceway, then known as Parrammatta back in the 90's and there is no finer facility in Australia and I was at most of them.  A great place to watch a race with a great fanbase who know how to have fun.  A trip Down Under should be on every sprint fans Bucket List, you will never forget it.....
