Per his Twitter, Jason Johnson is officially the 2014 ASCS champion.
There is no replacement for cubic displacement

Mr. Five Time !!! Congrats to the team. Beyond well earned and deserved, that team never stopped even through a trying year.

Maybe its time for Jason Johnson to move up to 410s instead of racing 360s. 5 times? With his budget? Just saying. Congrats on a good season. I think he is a good driver as he has had a podium finish at the nationals and wins a lot of races each year but hopefully he runs the NSL or some other 410 series next year. I'm sure the NSL would welcome his Ford powerplant.

Pretty sure JJ wont be back with ASCS, I understand he is working on securing funding to run WoO next year.
He presently does not own a 360, however he does own 2 Kistlers and 1 Don Ott 410's. All 3 being Chevys

Word is the NSL is very concerned about Jason's dominance with Fords. Everyone involved with the new series is absolutely determined to make sure the cars are totally identicle to all the WoO cars. Something new and different and potentially faster would be a huge deilema no one at NSL has the talent, time or armored truck to handle.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I wonder if Chris Moss will even be permitted in the pits at an NSL race after JJ's incredible comback from the chev powered defecit.

So once again you're saying Jason had to go back to more powerful motors to win. He couldn't do so running the same configuration as everyone else. Lol. I'm sure he appreciates you continually running him down.

I think it's time for you to tell us about Casey Luna's Ford success as your signature states. I think this is like most of your posts a load of BS, your move.....

No need to worry, the Ford 410's were bricks, 360's on ther other hand, are rockets!!!! especially the bigger tracks.JMO

Pointing out that he is always looking for an advantage, never ever gives up and makes awsome choices that have helped him win many titles in a row is running him down????? He may be the best overall racer. You don't come from Louisianna and win oodles of national sprint car titles just copying the other average goobers like almost everyone else is doing these days. Jason doesn't have Danny, Tony and Warner to take care of everything. Show me a better overall racer paying the bills, driving and calling all the shots. There isn't one.

Minthess,
I'm sure that your post was meant to be "tongue in cheek" but how the dickens did we, NSL, get dragged into this conversation? The poster suggested he might run with the WoO. He said nothing about the NSL. But thanks for the free plug!
With that being said, Jason Johnson and the #41 race team is more than welcome to come race with us and with whatever power plant he so chooses. And if he does and he wins every race on the NSL schedule, we would be the first to congratulate him and his race team, be it a Ford, Chevy or Toyota engine, it don't matter.
You sir, on the other hand, are also welcome to come and par take in any NSL sprint car event.
We wish everybody the best of luck where ever they choose to race in 2015. And they're all welcome to come and compete with the NSL anytime...cz

Actually NSL was mentioned before my post but I'm glad you asked It continues to boggle my mind how wanting the sport to improve, grow, become more impressive, attract new fans, attract old fans because what they loved is finally back after 20 years etc is considered crazy and pointless. I have a tour bus load of car-guy buddies and when I ask them to come with me to watch 40 highly regulated nearly identicle small block chevys for only 40 bucks a ticket, I go by myself. For pitty's sake... the NSL thing is a golden opportunity to truly make something happen not just copy exactly what we've seen a thousand times for the last 10 years. I have to admit I am blown away at how many people get excited watching cars ride around on the bottom 4 or 5 seconds off 15 year old track records but there would be a hell of a lot more if something better, faster, more powerful and cutting edge was present. Lets get to where there is a few different engines, the cars are overpowered so a girl behind the wheel isn't more than adequate and time trial excitment is better than 11th grade English class.

Cool. So glad the ultimate WoO fan finally asked to have my sig explained..... Did Al Nott, Loyd K Stephens, Harold Annette, Raymond Beedle, Al Hamilton, Les Kepler, Verlin Chupp, Jeff Gilliam, Ray Williams, Jack Elden, Paul Morgan, Kenny Rogers, Dan Motter, Dennis Roth, Lonny Parsons, Gil Sonner etc etc etc win multiple WoO titles or have the car to beat at Eldora and Syracuse for years on end. Answer: NO........... They all packed their cookie cutter engines and went home like whipped pups.
