Am looking into the campgrounds at Knoxville next year for the Nationals. Looking for details that aren't on the website.
How are they, what are the sites like (Raceway Campground, and the RV Park next door). Are there any facilities (bathhouse, bathroom etc) aside from what you have in your RV. What are the rules for fires? I know there is a shuttle around town at different times during the day and week....is there anyway to find out where they stop throughout town? And when do they run...only before and during races or after as well? How long of a walk is it to the race track from the campgrounds if the shuttle isn't running?
Any other tips that anybody has that has been there before?

I started this thread, because I am realizing how little info there actually is out there on the internet about any of this stuff.

The Raceway Campground has a shower house / restroom. Not sure on RV full service campgound (their website has a phone # though). Both should have fire rules available (allthough the past few years, we've been under a "burn ban" due to dry conditions (and it's usually HOT in August and no need for a campfire).
Contact the Chamber of Commerce regarding the shuttles (that is a Chamber sponsored shuttle).
