I know  everyone wants  to see   good racing  first , so do I  . But  what  track  is the  most  fan  friendly or  progressive ?
I have  my favorites ,two come to mine  or more  , but  I say  Eldora and Port  Royal ,because  i like  what  there  doing and you can  talk  with their  track managements about  anything . So what  are  your thoughts on this topic ?

Lucas Oil in Wheatland, Mo. is the nicest track I've been to

Way under utilized though.  It's a crime that they don't invest in a huge 410 winged sprint car show

I think all the tracks in central Pa do a good job except for Williams Grove and even The Grove puts on some decent shows when they don't cancel because of it being to cloudy. Port Royal is probably the best right now but I personally enjoy all of them. I'm not real picky though. I could give a shit less if I leave with a free T-shirt and facilities don't really mean much to me. Give me a good track surface, a quality field of cars and a place to watch it from and I'm happy. Don't get me wrong, nice bleachers like Port Royal has are a definite bonus but I'm just as content sitting on the shitty old boards at Susquehanna as long as the racing in front of me is good. I never understood why some fans feel like the race tracks need to kiss their asses and give them an “experience". To me, the experience is all about watching some extremely brave men gas it up, drive into the cornera way too fast and do wheel to wheel battle in the most badass machines on earth. If a fan isn't happy with that, then they should just find something else to do. That's just my opinion.

Thanks   for all  your  comments  and replies  , they   are   great   choices , great  racing  is still  the main item naturally  no matter  what the facility  is like . And your right about  Lucas Oil  Speedway  a  great  facility  and  maybe  they should do a  high profile  410 show ? they  tried a WoO show and  I don't  think they were  happy  with  that . But  even consider a  410  USAC  show  ?  But  everyone  should  take in a  race at  Lucas Oil Speedway sometime  , put it on your list to see a race there .

every race I attended at Port Royal seemed like an EVENT

Lincoln has the best recing on a regular basis

WG continues to approach the enjoyment of a root canal...but I still spent the money

bottom line for me - prep the track/ clean the bathrooms . open the concessions / run the show efficiently

if that is outside your skill set, get out of the business and go pick out a neck tattoo

highlight of my year: ISMA supers at Oswego...and I hear they are coming to Jennerstown in either June or August of 2015!

Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

I think the Dirt Track At Charlotte is at the top of the list as far as facilities and how the fans are treated . Right down to the ticket takers, security guards and even the parking attendants. All are very polite and helpful.

Port Royal is a close second.

Knoxville Raceway!

The best thing any track can do for the fans is give them a good field of cars on a well prepped race track. That is what a fan friendly track does. That is what Knoxville Raceway does week after week all season long. And they give fans the best and biggest special event of the year in the Knoxville Nationals. All the other crap, music, give aways, seating, clean restrooms, etc are meaningless without a good field of cars and a well prepped track.

Knoxville Raceway - 80 sprint cars about 10 heats 2 B Mains 3 A Mains = $15 most nights......

Plus you can also visit the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum.......  Eat at the Rib Shack or Pizza Hut Pizza in the Grandstands....  Dingus after the Races......

That's pretty darn fan friendly to me..........

I have to be a "homer" and say I feel blessed to live 10 miles south of Haubstadt and Tri-State Speedway. Good food, always a great racing surface for wing and non-wing sprints, friendly people with a pleasant, clean  atmosphere and you can take in your own beer. The show keeps moving and I enjoy intermission and the John Deere tractor show. We got it good here in southern Indiana with all the bull-rings plus Terre Haute and Lawrenceburg. I always enjoy my time at Eldora, too.

This. Totally this. At the end of the day, if the racing is awesome, you don't hear anyone talking about how nice the shitters are.
