I know I am beating not just a dead, but a decaying horse. If it's a purse deal, I understand. I have never pretended to know the dollars and cents of track promotion. I guess I am thinking more in terms of the car count and the curfew factor.
We don't have B features with the factories or pro stocks, and between the two what will have in heat races, five?
When it's all said and done, the weather robbed us of a lot of racing this year. I only throw it out because there are just three points races left and the car counts are obviously down by now. If it won't work for an entire season, I understand. It's just the current circumstances of races missed, few races remaining and lower car counts that leads me to the suggestion.
I am not so sure that we couldn't get five classes done between 7:30-11 p.m., (minus the intermission) but I am almost certain that we could do it between 7-11 p.m. Wouldn't it be a nice way to let drivers make up for so many dates missed, and give the fans a little more racing when they have missed so much?
But that's only if it's a curfew thing. If it's about the money, and it probably is, I should really probably just shut up.
