JJ YELEY TO JOIN CHALLENGE CUP SPRINTS THIS SATURDAY NIGHT NOVEMBER 8TH

JJ Yeley blends in with the Challenge Cup Non Wing 360 sprint cars as they visit Central Arizona Speedway Saturday night November 8th in a special $12 sprint car spectacular. Matt Lundy will lead the Challenge cup crew into Saturday nights event as he has had a great run in the 2014 championship sitting 27 points ahead of Lonnie Oliver and 34 points ahead of Aaron Jones. Adding his name to the Challenge Cup ranks will be Sprint Car legend and Nascar star JJ Yeley. Yeley who has put together a ride between his father Jack Yeley and Tommy Lee of Prescott will look to challenge the best of the division on the South Wests fastest dirt oval Saturday night.
Eric Winemiller will also try an add to his points lead with only 3 races left in the 2014 X-Mod championship. He is coming off a 2nd place finish this past weekend at Arizona Speedway where himself, Morrow and Mecl put on a show displaying the side by side battles we have came to expect from this stand out division. Into Saturday nights feature Winemiller will carry a 65 point lead over Trevor Miller and a 106 point lead over Chris Caldwell.

Pure stocks Terry Churchwell will try and maintain his lead in the championship as he holds a 4 point lead over Michael Huffman whose consistency has closed the gap between himself and the season long leader. Late season battles and newcomers have tightened the gap and made for some edge of you seat action that we will look forward to come Saturday night.

Mark Farnes will also look to clinch the championship on Saturday night as the Bomber driver with the most wins in the 2014 season goes into the evening 8 points ahead of Steve Soboski and 66 points ahead of 2013 C.A.S. champion Don Berner. Virgil McArthur will also be trying to improve his last finish by 1 position as he came up just short of the victory in a last lap battle with Farnes in their last meeting.

Finally the race the ladies have waited all year for will wrap up the evening as the ladies of CAS get a chance to fly around the speedway in their bombers and pure stocks. The Lady stocks will wrap up the evening in a 15 lap feature where fun is key while battling for that first CAS lady stock trophy to be handed out on the front stretch.

Racing action begins at 7:00pm, Pits open at 4:00pm, front gates open at 5:00pm. Cost of admission is $12 for adults, $10 for senior and kids 11 and under are free. Central Arizona Speedway is located at 512 N Eleven Mile Corner Road, Casa Grande, AZ 85194 at the Pinal county fairgrounds.
