Since American Valley Speedway is having a non sanctioned 410 race this Saturday i was just wondering if there will be a larger car count at Chico on Friday than usual?. Also has anyone heard if any of the Chico regulars will be going up the mountain for the Saturday show?

There will no doubt be a larger car count on Chico, but it'll be most likely because Coke night usually brings out more cars and the feature pays $2,500 to win.

I really enjoyed going to Quincy for the GSC race, but wow it was really far and those really curvy roads. Do you think there will be many 410 guys show up for an open show at Quincy? It feels like forever since I have been to a race, lol! I am really looking forward to the upcoming Outlaw races!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

When GSC ran there race at Quincy i decided to kill two birds with one stone, i went to the Chico show on friday night and stayed at a motel in Chico.. When i drove up to Quincy saturday morning i encounterd very little traffic same with the return on sunday morning, i don't think i seen twenty cars the whole distance on hwy 70 on my return trip to 99.. I agree that there are some curvy areas but that does not bother me since i was born raised and live at a place that has cow trails (San Mateo Co.Coast).. Quincy is a neat town it's like going back in time to how most towns in California were 50 or 60 years ago, laid back, no rat race!.. Last year Quincy held a 410 non sanctioned race at around this time that drew only about 15 (not enough) cars so most likely i will just stay home and pout until the 3 day Gold Cup..
Herb.
