I haven't checked out any RaceSaver organization's schedules lately, but if your season has come to an end and you still want to race a little more, head on down to the Carolinas for a big two day show next weekend.

On Friday, October 3rd, the Carolina RaceSavers will be co-headlining with the USCS/URC North vs South challenge at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC. Carolina Speedway is the premier Friday night short track. Its where the best in late models and dirt stock c...ars compete in front of massive crowds every weekend. Its the Williams Grove of the South, minus the sprint cars!

On Saturday night, we'll be racing at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC. It use to be a massive 5/8 mile red clay oval, but due to god fearing speeds was later reduced to a 3/8 facility where the flag stand is actually going into turn one. What tracks have that!? Cherokee Speedway is probably one of the top five most historic tracks in the South due to legends like Scott Bloomer and Freddy Smith defying what man thought was impossible in full bodied late models.

Still want to race some RaceSaver events? Come on down South... we'd love to have you! We'll share our sweet tea and fried chicken with you just for coming down here...

Carolina the Williams Grove of the south?

Does that make Gaffney the Eldora  of the south and Lancaster the Knoxville of the south.

Blasphemy... Smile

My Carolina Speedway/Williams Grove comparison was based solely off the fact that both tracks race on Friday Night, and usually have the areas best drivers competing before dispursing to lot of different tracks on Saturday night!
