Four months later...... A new leader is hoisted to the top
Andrew Deal took over the Oil Capital Racing Series points lead by 32 points over Danny Smith in the chase for the Harold Leep Championship Trophy by virtue of his second place run to winner Fred Mattox during last weekends 8th Annual Oklahoma State Championship event at the Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada OK. Smith had held the lead since early May and slipped to second in points when he encountered late race woes and wound up with a 15th place finish last weekend while breaking in a new car.
