Another proven winner with no ride????? I haven't seen his name anywhere. I assumed he was at Lincoln on Saturdays but it doesn't look like it.

Who really cares? IF he was as GOOD as people think, don't you think he would have a ride?

Brian is a good driver , but there no rides until one is vacated . We are losing cars all over , for various reasons and we all know what they are .

Here we go again!!
Leppo is a good driver, more of a field filler!!! He does win when he starts up front, put him 15th in the field and he will be lucky to make the top 10!!
If he was as good as some of you think, he would have a full time ride.

drw40........I can't say that I know you sir, but this comment sounds like a Nelligan post, unjustified slandering of a racer without any facts to bback it up. Now unlike him I'm going to assume your an intelligent human being with a heart beating in your chest. I'm Just looking out for you drw40, Nobody with a soul would want you to dwindle yourself down to Mike Nelligan's level. That being said I think anybody who has followed sprint car racing for any significant amount of time understands the financial burden and knows that there has been a fair amount of car owners retiring over the last few years. Heck even Ron Hornaday had to sit out of the truck series race this weekend (while in the Championship battle) because of fiancial issues going on with the team. The fact is Brian Leppo is a good racer and deserves to be in a good ride. And if you've shook his hand and had a conversation with him you'd know he's great class-act guy. Go ahead and run him down all you want Nelligan, but those are the facts.

I don't quite understand the whole Leppo thing. The last two years, even Fred Rahmer, Lance Dewease and Doug Esh have had to take lower level rides or rides with unproven teams to race central Pennsylvania. If there aren't enough big dollar teams for Rahmer, Dewease and Esh, why would there be a top notch team for Brian Leppo?

Subbed for Monteith back in May. Started on pole and finished 3rd. A good racer who has been snakebitten many times. Would probably have a WoO win under his belt if he hadn't run out of gas.
Miss him in the field and would like to see Kevin Nouse racing a 410 also.

Brian Leppo has beaten the outlaws at the Grove...it was a rubberdown situation and Kinser had multiple restarts to root him off the bottom but failed to get it dne...and then refused to report to victory lane for the top 3 interview.

Part of Brian's issue is, as already said, what I'd call the Lance Dewease effect. When Lance took the 27 car and the 30c went off the market, it shook up everything. One less car, and one more good ride off the market. Then Rahmer retires, Hodnett loses his ride due to funding and he takes over for Dewease. Lance in turn takes a part time gig and a lower car. When cars are gone and our top drivers are having to take lower rides to stay relevent..guys like Brian are left in limbo. Also, Brian works full time and his family and work is his full commitment. He would still be in the Zemco car if he would have been able to spend more time in the shop and had more time for racing. However, due to his commitments as a family man...he's got to be selective in what he can do. I think he'll be back if he truly wants to and the scenario is right. But until then, he's just a hired gun from time to time who's been snake bitten one time too many

Oh, never mind, I didn't realize he only won when he started in the front........I mean, who else but him does that...no wonder he doesn't have a ride

If I remember correctly which I do. a very quality car and great car owners gave him a shot, and he didn't disappoint at one of the biggest race around here. He and Schatz battled for a good number of laps at the national open in he CJB car. how anybody can not like Brian or put his racing down is beyond me. One of the nicest guys in the pits, and cleanest drivers. He did the most with what he had in the 71, and I believe he had 1 night in the Zemco againt the all stars and parked it in victory lane

One of the nicest families around! He did park the 1 In Victory Lane in his first race in the car and would have won many more in his second, longer stint in the car if not for a lot of freak, crazy problems. They have a very dedicated fan base and when I say they, it's not just Brian, but his whole family that I am a fan of. They know how to treat their fans and it has not gone un-noticed. When I deployed to Iraq in 200809, Brian ran a white 71 car that I absolutley loved. One of my favorite cars ever actually. I asked my dad to get me a shirt during speedweek and when my dad told them I was deployed and had asked him to get me a shirt, not only did they give it to him for free but they offered to send it to me as well along with some other gear. I've beeb a fan since and hope to see him back in a car soon

I know the Pinter #92 is open since booting Tyler Ross. I know that owner changes drivers a lot, maybe Brian Leppo could run it in the season ending big money races.

I sat one night at Lincoln with none other than Big Right Rear and prolcaimed that Leppo was going to be a World of Outlaws driver, I had been that impressed about three times in a row. I'm not sure what happened but 10 or more years ago he was up aand coming and went hard every single night I saw him and that includes passing lots of cars.
As to Wendal, what a clueless piece of work you are. I have not now nor really ever attacked DRIVERS, I will continue to respond to pond scum like yourself because I get weak and can't help myself. I only wish we would have met years ago but alas you run your mouth in here and hide when I come to PA and we both know what a good decision that was. Get back in your hole junior and good luck Brian....

According to 'Pa Posse Racing', Leppo will be driving a Bob Stewart owned car in the Fall Classic @ Lincoln Saturday night. Wrenched by 'Lethal' Lee Stauffer.

More wonderful posts from "true" fans. Brian has something like 16-18 wins in PA, including WoO, All-Star, Speedweek, and Keystone Cup events. The last race I saw him win at Lincoln in the 71 car he came from 9th-10th by lap 10 and drove away. When he was the only person that could push Schatz in the '12 National Open, he started 6th. The rubber down WoO race he won, it was Kinser that started on the pole, Brian got around him on the start and never let him get close again - Schatz went from 16th to 6th that night, most weren't passing. He has a Diamond Series Championship at Williams Grove. Is he the best driver alive: Nope, but he's certainly a lot better than some here claim and I have no problem saying there were 35 drivers that pulled into Lincoln last week he's better than. I even have to stand up for MSPN on this one, he spoke many times in the past of Brian's big wins in 2004-2005, some of which I believe he witnessed. He got two shots to drive a car this year with a team he never worked with ever, and averaged a 5.5 place finish with a 6.5 average start. I can't imagine there is anyone posting here that's done as well.
