I agree. I wish the Williams Grove National Open would go to three days. Divide the field up like Knoxville and just have features and non-qualifiers stuff Saturday night. It would take away the disadvantage some have in time trials when you qualify 60 plus cars.

I'm certainly intrigued to see how this plays out. Contrary to some, I actually like that the inverted heats are worth more than the straight up heats, it will keep the accumulated points among the drivers closer and really requires hard racing in the 2nd round of heats as opposed to drivers being comfortable with their high point qualifying effort and checking out in the straight up heats. Hope to see this race get a huge car count because you know the fans will be there regardless. Thank you Kasey.
As for the winner, I think the check will be going to the 48 or 21.

Not sure how I feel about the second heat being worth more points. Just means drivers can sandbag in the first heat, and start on the pole of the second and earn more points, or even just stay mid pack and know he can get to the front. Will be very interesting to say the least and I think the check can be written to the 27, they are more consistent at this time of year and can stay more consistent throughout the night.
