It’s just 2 weeks now before the first night of competition at the Precise Racing Products Racesaver IMCA Sprint Super Nationals, presented by NMC Rental and Venom!!

The weekend begins with an Open House Practice/Tech Night on Thursday August 28th. All classes are welcome to participate in the practice which will be from 7-10 P.M. Tech begins at 10A.M. The grandstand will open at 6 P.M. and front gate admission is absolutely free. Pit Passes are only $10.

Then, on Friday August 29th, the competition gets underway. There will be breakfast served in the pits from 9-10:30 A.M. Pre-tech opens at 10 A.M. and there will be lunch available from Noon until 1 P.M. Front gates will open at 6 P.M. with adult grandstand admission being $10, youths 6-12 costing $5 and children 5 and under are free. Hot laps will begin at 6:30 with the National Anthem being at 7:25 and racing starting at 7:30. Pit gates open at 4 P.M. with pit admission being $25. There will be live music during the pit party following the races. In addition, there will be other entertainment following the live music.

The Racesaver IMCA sprints will be racing to qualify for the 9 inside rows of Sunday’s A Feature. Friday’s Sprint Car A Main will have a purse of $700 to win and $250 to start. An IMCA license is required to participate in the sprint portion of the racing. In addition, the 600CC Mini-sprints will be racing, and Friday Night includes qualifying races for Saturday’s Speedy Bill Smith Race of Champions.

Saturday kicks off with a Golf Tournament benefitting the JDRF at the Ashland Golf Club (see www.eagleraceway.com

for details on the tournament). Breakfast will be served in the pits from 9-10:30 A.M. Pre-tech opens at 10 A.M. and there will be lunch available from Noon until 1 P.M. Front gates will open at 5 P.M. with adult grandstand admission being $12, youths 6-12 costing $5 and children 5 and under are free. Hot laps will begin at 5:30 with the National Anthem being at 6:25 and racing starting at 6:30. Pit gates open at 4 P.M. with pit admission being $25. There will again be live music during the pit party following the races. Also, there will be additional entertainment following the live music.

The outside rows 1-9 for the Sunday finale of the Racesaver IMCA sprints will be set Saturday night. The evening will also feature the Speedy Bill Smith Race of Champions with $1000 to win and $100 to start being paid. The Saturday Sprint Car Feature will pay $700 to win and $250 to start. The NAPA IMCA Sport Modifieds will be racing for $250 to win the A with $50 to start. In addition, the Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stocks will vie for $200 to win their feature and $30 to start. An IMCA license is required to participate in all classes.

Then Sunday, August 31 sees the Big Dance for the Racesaver IMCA Sprint Cars!! Last chance qualifiers will set the middle 9 rows of the A Feature for the sprinters. As with the previous days, breakfast will be served in the pits from 9-10:30 A.M. Pre-tech opens at 10 A.M. and there will be lunch available from Noon until 1 P.M. The Driver’s Appreciation Luncheon will be held at 1P.M. in the courtyard area. All drivers should come to the luncheon to get their contingency bags and to sign items to be given away to the fans. Front gates will open at 4:30 P.M. with adult grandstand admission being $15, youths 6-12 costing $5 and children 5 and under are free. The first 1,000 fans through the front gate will receive a Free Light-up Driver Introduction Ceremony Wand. There will be an autograph session and car show in the courtyard from 4:30-5:30. Hot laps will begin at 5:30 with the National Anthem being at 6:25 and racing starting at 6:30. Pit gates open at 3 P.M. with pit admission being $25. Rain Date – Monday, September 1st.

The Kaplan IMCA Modifieds and Sam’s Club IMCA Sport Compacts will be the support classes. The Modified A will pay $400 to win and $75 to start. The Compact Feature will pay $60 to win and $25 to start. An IMCA license is required to participate in all classes.

The Racesaver IMCA Sprint Car Finale will see the winner take home $2000 and all other Sprint Car A Main qualifiers will receive a minimum of $1000. The race will feature the first ever three-wide start, with 27 total racers competing.

Camper electrical hook-ups will be available by reservation only at (402) 238-2595.

A 3-day Grandstand Admission Pass is available for a discounted price of $30 ($7 off) by calling and ordering on or before Tuesday, August 26th. (402) 238-2595

This is still over a week away and we're already at 83 pre-entries!! If you hadn't already planned to be there, you might want to rethink your itinerary!!!

Also, a 3 Day Grandstand pass is available for a discounted price of $30 by calling the office before Wed, Aug 27th 402-238-2595.
If you plan on camping and would like electricity, you must call, reserve, and pay for by Wed, Aug 27th $10/night to hook up.

Not many names I recognize at all, which in this case I think is actually good.  

No attempted cherry picking by bigger named teams dropping down a class for the event. 

3 wide start for 27 cars...  pucker time!

As we all know, lots of racers don't pre-enter because they think there may be another/better opportunity.

Either way, this is going to be one great weekend of racing!!!
