Any guesses on car count for either division?
Any advice for a newbie to the Belleville Highbanks? I am guessing the concessions are nothing to brag about since they only run a couple times a year....how about places to eat in town or to the west on 36?
If I am reading the press release right, Friday will be a little slim for entertainment....time trials for about 15 cars and a 50 lap feature plus mini-sprints and that is it?

The race is during the areas county fair. If you enjoy fair food, you will be in heaven. It is king of neat to see the amusement rides outside of the race track.
Their was a post on another board stating that they had 22 midgets registered that they put in the program. As always some will not show up, and several more will decide to make the show. I would imagine 25-28 cars for the midgets.
I don't have any idea on the Silver Crown cars. I kind of agree with the entertainment value. I plan on making the trip up on Saturday, but could not justify the expense to watch the silver crown cars.

Thanks,
How about the grandstands....is it worth the extra $9 for a reserved seat? I have not bought tix yet but can do so online tomorrow if worth the extra $5 plus service fees.

Made the trip once couple years back. Seem to remember some decent food choices out at the fair. there is more than just the typical corn dog stand. But I was told if going to belleville getting a piece of homemade pie from a local church(I think) that sells there at the fair was a must, and was not dissapointed.
