TRI-STATE SPEEDWAY”S INDIANA SPRINT WEEK RACE ARRIVE EXTRA EARLY AND SUPPORT A SPECIAL CAUSE!
Haubstadt, IN - July 16, 2014 - This year’s Indiana Sprint Week race for USAC Sprint Cars will be held at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday July 19th. The rain date for this special event, if needed, will be Sunday July 20th. For race fans who arrive early or would enjoy some added activity upon arriving early, Tri-State Speedway will be hosting a special benefit for Sheila Manuel beginning at 12 noon that day. Food booths will open then and raffle items will also be available. Of special interest will be the corn hole tournament with registration beginning at 10:00 A.M. and closing at 11:45 A.M. Two player teams can register at a cost of $20 per team. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd places with the amount depending on the number of participants. Ten teams will be needed to meet the minimum requirement with forty teams set as the maximum number of entries. Sheila Manuel has been a concession manager at the track for 14 years. She was recently diagnosed with terminal bone cancer. On race weekends she can be found in the concession area on the west side of the track. There her service with a smile has befriended the many race fans who have attended Tri-State Speedway. Please show your support, arrive early, and be part of the entire afternoon’s pre-race activities. A camping area is provided at the West side of the track for fans following the week long series.
