Like watching the 11 car in the 1980's was so much fun.....
Donny is the BEST driver out there right now period (last year he started 21st and won).
I sat through numerous Knoxville Nationals where you knew on Wednesday that unless Steve crashed during time trials on his qualifying night that they were going to win and even if he did crash odds were that he'd still find a way to win.

I feel sorry for anyone who lets their dislike/hatred towards Schatz ruin their Nationals week.

I agree. I'm neither a fan or a critic, but like anyone I'd like to see a different winner. I had a great time last year and figured he couldn't win from 21st. Honesty though, that was a helluva performance and I'm glad I was there to see it!

Without a doubt the best week of the year for sprints. I will stop at Pevely for the 2 day Iron Man 55, then to the Cappy Classic on Sunday, then 4 days of the Nationals.

agree, best week of the year no matter who wins.
The fact that only 8 drivers have won the event in the last 30 years is AMAZING (especially since 4 of those only won the event once - Kraig Kinser, Tim Shaffer, Dave Blaney and Bobby Allen. The other 26 were won by the same 4 guys

39 drivers entered thus far. Definitley a tad on the short side, but it always finds its way up there. Pre-Entry deadline is coming.

Just ordered my ticket. My only thing is, how can anything top Donnie's win from the back last year?
Unless somebody pulls the upset.....

I'd like to see somebody take it who's never won it before.
Or maybe someone who hasn't won it for a long time..... who's that old guy from Germantown, Tennesssee? Or that other old dude from Indiana?????? I think he's retiring?
