Have heard Shane Stewart and James McFadden are coming in to Knoxville this weekend. Any other outsiders coming?

How does the purse work on this event? Are both featues the same weekly purse or do they cut the purse in half for each A main? I have also heard they invert based on the finish of the first A but if you are a lap down you start in the back. Is that correct? If guys crash out of the first A do they add alternates to fill the field for the second A main?

Looks like a fun night of racing.

The past 2 years it's been a full purse for both features.

Lead lap cars are inverted completely based on finishing position of first feature (first feature has been lined up "straight up" by time trials forever since they are gonna penalize them in the 2nd feature).

Cars that crash out or DNF start behind those still running at the finish (if they are able to re-start).

I would imagine that if someone is unable to start the 2nd feature, that the 5th place car in the B will get the opportunity to start at the tail (and on down the line to fill the 24 starting spots).

Hoping the BWW car(s) are there, but not sure if Clausen has a conflict or not, I'd guess that Crockett will be there, but until they open the gates, you don't know anything for certain.

I would assume Clauson is running the Pepsi Nationals in the midget at Angell Park, but who knows. He will surely be at Lincoln Park tomorrow night for USAC sprints though. Most of those USAC guys are used to overnight travel though, as they often run midgets/sprints/crown hundreds of miles apart on back-to-back days.

Anyone know if/when they are gonna have twin features for the 360's?

July 12 would be a great night to make that up!
