Car owners will decide if he deserves another shot not fans or writers. I would be crucified for saying this on another board but he is suited for time trial events because he can go fast by himself so he times well to get good starting spots. He does, unless his car is superior on a given night have a habit of finishing about where he started. I do give him credit for not tearing up a lot of equipment. He did have quite a while to impress those who matter most and so far they don't seem to be impressed. That can change but he is not a kid just starting any more and there young a wild guys coming up all the time to compete with for those rides. Experience is getting to be on his side however because although the young guys may win some night in and night out I think experience is better for the car owners finances.

Your points are valid. But what impresses me is his willingness to do what it takes to move forward. He isn't a one-trick pony. Moves around, has good track recognition. It's not easy sliding a car through the middle on a dry-slick surface. Wolfe can and looked good doing it this week.

You said about owners making a decision. But we all know that it isn't just about driving ability. It's the product they bring, name recognition and of course, you have the family deals.

As for passing cars, it seems that is a problem. Or at the least, a concern in the sport. It's tough to pass, especially in Central Pa.
