OCRS Manufactures Performance Rankings
Eagle Chassis / STK Engines Take Top Spots

Tulsa Oklahoma (June 19, 2014) – Changes have taken place in both categories of the OCRS Manufactures Performance Rankings as the summer season continues to take hold. Eagle Motorsports, on the strengths of Alex DeCamp’s win at Lawton Speedway on May 31st and Shayla Waddell’s runner-up finish at the Monett Speedway two weeks later in Missouri, moves into the top of this weeks rankings by a single point over Maxim Chassis (27-26).

Maxim stays within an eyelash of the top with a solid second place run by Robert Sellers at Lawton. Derek Cottrell won his first career OCRS feature last Saturday at the Tri-State Speedway and in doing so, it assisted XXX Chassis in keeping the front two in check with a current total of 19 points. ART Chassis had another driver win his first OCRS event when Michael Bookout scored at Monett and the west coast maker finished last week with 16 points.

STK Racing Engines powers DeCamp along with Kade and Chance Morton and it was Kade pulling in solid points with a second place score at Tri-State to go with DeCamp’s Lawton win. STK’s success pushed them past Dyno Services of Oklahoma however, as with the chassis points, this race is tight as well with only three points making a difference in the tally (22-29). DSO had top five scores with Danny Smith (Tri State) and Casey Wills (Monett).

Brand Racing Engines scored valuable points with Waddell and Shane Sellers (third) at Lawton and moves into a very strong third with 17 points. Mike Stewart, owner of Car & Fleet Parts, gets a win on the board with Bookout’s surprising finish with Cottrell doing the same for KPE Engines. Kelly Fode (car owner of Brian McClelland) now has 11 points with McClelland’s podium finish at Tri-State and that moved him into a tie with Allen Racing Engines for fourth.

The next event for the OCRS warriors in Friday June 20th is a non-wing scheduled affair at the West Siloam Speedway in Colcord Oklahoma.
