Round three of the Joe Hunt Wingless Sprint Shootout Series thunders to Placerville Speedway. On June 21, 2014

The Joe Hunt Series is back at the high banks of Placerville Speedway for round three of the series, a lot of drivers excited to get back to the very fast exciting dirt oval. With the excitement the series provided at the Petaluma Speedway there is no doubt the series will be banging off the massive cushion the Placerville Speedway always has to offer. After round two of the shootout series Tommy Laliberte is in command of the points system with 105 points. Second terry Schank Jr. with 92 points to his credit after a spectacular win at the Petaluma Speedway the last time the series was in action. Third is Trevor Schmid with 91 points. Fourth rookie contender with the series Shane Myhre 84 points to his credit. Fifth in points with 83 points is Napa’s Joe Stornetta Jr. Sixth Scott Hall who will be back in the Hall family owned 56 this Saturday with Dan Lind spinning Wrenches and Tommy Hall taking pictures. Seventh Rowdy McCllenon has 81 points. Eighth is awarded to Angelique Bell with 72 points. Ninth is Colton Slack 49 points. And rounding out the top ten in points is Talyor Nelson who suffered a terrible crash at the Silver Dollar Speedway handicapping him from racing round two at Petaluma, Nelson hopes to return to action this Saturday.
