So is there a Sprint Car race scheduled for Tuesday this year or is it just a void in the weeks racing action?

Nothing in Knoxville/Osky, but if open late models are accetpable, check out the West Liberty Raceway about an hour to the east.

Outlaw Dirt Kart Nationals August 4th and 5th.
Here are just some of the drivers that have competed at English Creek Speedway that have moved on to race at Knoxville Raceway, Alan Ambers, Tony Shilling, Cassie Shilling, Jamie Ball, Nick Ross, Cody Ambers, Michael Williams and Matt Juhl.
Other nationally known racers to race at the English Creek Speedway Outlaw Dirt Kart Nationals are J.J. Yeley, John Carnie, Matt Moro, Robby Wolfgang, Brad Sweet, Kyle Larson, Mason More and Sean Becker.
Iowa's Premier Outlaw Dirt Kart Race Track is English Creek Speedway. It’s a 1/6 mile high bank clay oval racetrack located 10 miles south of Knoxville on Hwy 14 then 3 miles west on G76.
Gates open at 5pm and Races begin at 7pm. English Creek Speedway is the Nation’s home for the Outlaw Dirt Kart Nationals held on Monday & Tuesday August 4-5th .

English Creek Sounds good.. Been there once before and liked it. West Liberty is close to home and can go there anytime. West Liberty is actually about 2 hours from Knoxville.
