Holtgraver was very complimentary of the Central Pa guys. Kreitz was very candid about the racing and track prep.

I listen to both Sprint Car unlimited and Winged Nation and I gotta say they are both different shows. I will say this though about Sprint Car unlimited. I wish they would just let the driver's finish what they were saying. I've noticed several times now where it seems like they butt in during the interview. Perhaps it's jitters or nerves being it is a new show, but I just wish they wouldn't do that. I know it might be just an accident but still. Other than that those guys seem ok. I wouldn't mind sitting down with Jeremy, Mr. Port, Steve or Kendra and having a beer and talking racing.

I appreciate your thoughts. That has only happened a couple times. It's tough when the person isn't in front of you and they take a long pause. For the most part, I don't think we have had a problem with that, but we will definitely be more aware of it in the future. Thank you for listening.

intersting that DK admits that he (and other drivers) have made mistakes in backing rule changes, etc.
his read on lap times for good racing was interesting
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Listened to the interview with Donny Kreitz this morning on the way into work and I gotta say I agree with most of what he says and it makes sense.
Good interview, thanks guys.

Donnie Kreitz had a great take on why he likes the new Hoosier tire better than Goodyear. His results the past two years show it.
The best part of the tire rule is that it mandates a non-tapered bi-directional tire again, that way the rear tires don't sit flat on the race track with stagger. Five years ago sprint car tires were tapered and the outside of the tires were bigger around than the inside so they sat flat on the track going down the straightways even with stagger. Instead now they ride on the inside edges of the rear tires going down the straightways reducing the foot print, negating horsepower. They still roll over flat in the corners sticking the cars though. This is how sprint car tires were until the late 90's when Goodyear developed tapered tires and Hoosier ran with it for 10 years.
Another thing people like about the new Hoosiers is that they have a good compound. Low buck guys have been getting a couple of races out of them. If you hit them with a grinder they come right back to life.
Kreitz attested that they are still stuck way to hard in the heat races though. When the track is wide open there is no passing.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Would leave to hear what stauffer has to say. Going from a top notch driver, to a driver who can't even place in the top 10
