You changed the wager to your liking. My answer to your rattling was that not all the WoO guys would drop at least two spots. If you want to make that bet then fine by me.

Anything for Florida vs OSU???

The best that a 2006 WoO regular will finish in the 2007 WoO points is 3rd. $50

I'll take Florida and 30 points for $50. wink

Hawker, we're on! If I can participate. Easy money in my books and I am as big a TK fan you'll find so you won't have to read between the ines. Take It Easy....

I want some of this

I go with Hawker. A last year WoO regular won't finish in the top 2. 3rd at best.

MSPN, I will take yours and Bob will take Hawkers.

and the person I think that will do me in is Craig or Joey....not Donny. But if I lose it will be one of those that finish 1 or 2.

Ok.....your headline for the thread was "Did you hear the big BOOM today" on the inside you wrote "It was all of the WoO drivers dropping two spots in the points..." So I asked you then as I ask you now.....do you want to make a wager on THAT prediction of yours or not?. A simple yes or no will suffice. I am not interested in your spinning it to a Donny Schatz wager, I'm not a big Schatz fan and don't think he'll follow up his title run. I only want to know if you want to put your money where your mouth was or not? Were you serious enough to make a $50 wager on that or were you simply being a big blowhard? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'll pass on your Florida offer, unless of course you want to take OSU and give me Florida and 30, heck, I'd even take 25. LOL!

The bet is that none of the 2006 WoO regulars will finish better than 3rd in 2007. $50

Jackhole, you're on and if you are really in the mood I'll make it more interesting for you.

I will bet you another $50 that it will not be Steve and Danny finishing one-two either, lemme know. Take It Easy....

hmmm i wish i had an extra $50 to bet that none of the guys that ran woo full time in 2006 will be in the top 3 in points at the end of 2007, that just seems like easy money to me. you guys that are betting against this must not have gotten out much last year

I figured you would change your tune and not hold true to what you originally wrote. Next time, if you want to spout off, at least be man enough to back it up. Or at the very least, think before you write, there are some of us who will call you on it.

How has it changed? I said then and I say now that there will be no 2006 WoO drivers in the top 2 next year, hence the BIG BOOM.....

You might want to save you breath CoachBob, hawker will spin this to his advantage no matter

how long you drag this out. It's not a Big Boom, he's a BIG BLOW HARD.

I still would make the same bet if anyone is up? $50 and not a single regular from the WoO last year makes it in the top 2. This includes: Donny, Craig, Joey, Daryn, Jac, Brooke, Chad, Justin, Terry, Jeremy, Randy, Dion, Jason and Becca.

I still think i have a good chance at losing but I think it will be to Craig or Joey

What's the spin? My orginal post was...

Did you hear the Big Boom today? It was all of the WoO drivers dropping two spots in the points...

To which CoachBob replied...

I doubt that all will drop two spots, in fact I would be willing to bet on it if Mr. Kinser/NST ass kisser would like to wager.

So, my offer still stands...

$50 says that none of the 2006 WoO drivers (Mean 15) will finish better than 3rd next year. Meaning that yes, they will drop by two spots because of the return of some of the NST drivers... It's not rocket surgury folks. Take it or leave it, this is your last chance.

That is not what you implied. Where was it said that no WoO driver would be in the top two? You only rephrased it to spin the wager more in your favor. You said ALL WoO drivers would drop two spots, I say it isn't so. I say someone will hold their finishing position or improve on last years effort no matter how many guys return. You know that was your initial phrasing and you know what I was getting at or else you wouldn't have rephrased it to cover your hind end. Now do you want your original bet or do you want to admit your mouth overloaded your ass?

Coach, now after your last post I see what you are saying. Sounds like you are the one that is reading alot into it. I think most of us knew what Hawker said.

Your 'spin' is a play on words. Much like a womans. I am not trying to be mean here but we all knew what Hawker meant.

Simple fact, it is a much easier beat for you that someone like Terry will more than likely finush better cause he will not get taken out for a few weeks in 2007. So, yes, Terry will in my opinion finish better than he did this year, more than likely.

See, this is why I guess I would never bet with anyone on this board. Everyone would find some way to scew the results so they would not have to pay. I made a simple bet with my dad at the last Knoxville WoO show. I took Jac to win in the heat race and he had everyone else in the race. I lost and I paid. No bi***ing or trying to find a way to make it in my favor. To me I think everyone knew wait Hawker said in that post about the "boom" of the WoO guys going back 2 spots.

I am not going to agrue about this. I knew what Hawker meant. I think others knew what he meant by the responses. However, I guess Bob you are allowed to see it as something different. Not every Supreme Court Justice reads and understands the Constitution the same way.

ROTFLMAO.......

I didn't rephrase anything, I said all along that the WoO points would drop by 2, meaning that NST drivers would take the top two spots. You know it's going to happen and now your scared and trying to find a way out. So be it. To say that the 15 WoO drivers would finish in their same finishing positions or improve, less the top two spots is just dumb and has nothing to do with the intention of my offer. You know that may stance all along was that the top drivers were in the NST and I am STILL willing to put my money where my mouth is. On the other hand, it looks now that you are realizing that a lot of the 2006 WoO drivers are preparing to take a 50% pay cut.

I don't blame you for not taking the bet...

ahhhh...I see the NST guys are sticking together.

Apparently we read things differently. When I read that ALL WoO drivers will drop two spots, I take the literal sense. Perhaps it's the gambler in me, and I'm looking to capitalize on a loudmouth being just that. Done it before and maybe (maybe not) would have done it again. If what you were saying was that everyone would be racing for third then why didn't you just state it that way? Instead of taking the opportunity to just crow about your NST guys, you instead decided to take another pot shot at the WoO and then when someone calls you on it, you turn tail and spin away your loss.

Jackhole....perhaps you shouldn't be drinking when conversing with women who are intelligent enough to twist your words. LOL! Those smart women are a challenge I enjoy. But then I prefer to choose my words more wisely. Yes it would be an easier bet for me to have the wager as I called it. That was my intention. Those who know me know I am a gambler and gamblers always look for an edge. I merely took Hawker for his words exactly as he wrote them. I am sure there are plenty on here who were smart enough to understand what my bet was. Hawker knew it as well, that is why he started spinning immediately. It just took an explanation to bring you on board...haha. But then again you were an NST guy. Just digging on ya a little so don't get too mad at me. Beware of those with a little brainpower, they will steal your money.

Want to bet that I can hit a golf ball 400 yards?????

Better be careful, I'll take you to a frozen lake or large parking lot where the ball will roll forever.

Well Hawker, you got one NST worshipper to follow you and you got to weasel out of your statement. I don't care who finishes on top of the WoO and I really have no favorites. I actually have more Kinser pictures and diecast than I do anyone else. I'm just glad they are all back together. I wouldn't bet against Kaeding, Kinser and Lasoski even though I believe that Saldana, Dollansky and Schatz will have something to say about it all. My bet was not a WoO vs NST thing as much as it was a chance to capitalize against a big mouth. So since you performed the rope-a-dope long enough to wear me out, I guess I am done here. It should be a great race season with the WoO, I am looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll catch up to you somewhere out there. Have a great day.

GO BUCKEYES!

i am trying to figure out how in the world a bet could even be made from a comment like:

someone will hold their finishing position or improve on last years effort no matter how many guys return

to me this sounds like weasel words to find some car in 15th to bail you out when the podium spots go to the interlopers.
