Was slowly becoming a fan of Bent Parts at the end of the season, but after seeing how he is driving this year, no more. I dont know if its bad luck or his approach but ever since he is trying to travel more, he hasnt really had anything to boast about.

I think Brent is trying a little too hard. He wants to find some help for the family-owned deal, or advance to bigger things, and may be pushing the issue in an effort to get to that next level. I think we also have to keep in mind that he is only 23. Lot of time left to learn. I'm sure he will turn it around at some point. Every young driver has to go through a year like this.

I understand if he has to go back to Lincoln because of sponcership commitments. I do think from what I read that he is much more appreciated at Port.

Thats because he hasnt raced Port Royal enough times to wreck other cars, or drive stupid. I think I am gonna have to agree that he is trying to hard to impress people to get more sponsors/get his name out there. He is forcing the issue and its only getting worse.

I told him that on his facebook page after Susky, and other fans thought i was nuts when I told him i though he was overdriving the thing. I got how do you figure that? When your not overdriving you don't run over back markers,or stuff it in the wall trying to make passes. I told him he sort of reminded me of a young Doug Esh ( wrecker or checkers style driving). He settled in the seat and started winning some races. I am a fan and Picked him up as my new favorite when Rahmer Retired hope he breaks through the slump.

When the Hall of Famer, Fast Freddie Rahmer retired, I became a fan of the Future Hall of Famer, Faster Freddie Rahmer... :/

Back on topic...Does Port have scales...?...Because someone needs to tell Bent Parts, if he's going to run Lincoln, he needs to report to the scales... :/

He had to stop somewhere, I would have to think these cars have kill switches. I felt bad for him until I saw the twitter crap and complaining from his camp. If you don't go to the scales you get dq'd anywhere in any division in this country, otherwise everyone would claim they have a reason not to go. Maybe he had a valid reason but not going gets you dq'd, there was no reason for his people to act like they got screwed.

He said he had no brakes, and didn't want to hit another car or crew member from not stopping, I understand that, but why wouldn't he just keep going around the track until he came to a stop, or something along them lines.
