Saturday, May 31st is coming quickly! The National Lucas Oil ASCS winged 360's will be fighting our local 360 drivers for supremacy on the high banks of Eagle Raceway.
Can Tony Bruce Jr. repeat his ASCS Midwest region victory from this past weekend? Will Jason Johnson extend his points lead?? Come on out to America's Home Track and find out.

Is there a list of entries for the 360's? With only mods and compacts as support classes, might be a short night of racing. The mod count has only been a little over 20 lately and if they don't get more 360's than I-80 did last week, they might be hurting for cars. I realize it's an ASCS National event which should help, but it's Saturday so they won't get any help from Knoxville either. So EPSG, how many are you expecting?
Too bad they couldn't have had the 305's as support. They've been getting 30+ every week and putting on a damn good show. Some of the best sprint racing Eagle's had in a long time. Throw in the mods and it could have been one of the best open wheel specials of the year! Instead, if the 360 count isn't there, it might be worth driving to K-Ville this weekend.

Just the nebraska 360's should pull over 20 cars and ASCS at least 10 and whoever else should make it over 30 cars easy.

Pretty much what Kmart said. I'd say 30'ish 360's, so there will be plenty of racing.
C'ya all out there!!!

Thanks. Think any of the Saturday night regulars will drop in a 360 or run their 305's? A lot of them are former 360 drivers anyway. If the track conditions are right, the 305's could be competetive--not saying they'll win but some of the times they've run this year aren't that far off the 360 times in the past.

I agree. If this show was 360s, 305s, and A mods, it would be one of the best shows of the year. It would also give eagle a chance to showcase it`s 305 class. It should be strongly considered for next year.

I heard of a couple of the 305 racers planning on running with the 360's; plus there is always the chance that one or more of them may swap engines just for this night. I was also recently told that the 305's are now with 1/2 second of the times of the 360's, so I would say that they have a darned good chance against them.
As for the choice of support classes, you have to also remember that all of the classes help to keep the track alive and thriving. If you don't give them a chance to showcase themselves in the big shows, it isn't fair to them.
Just sayin' .
