Philip mock gets his second career win at Beaver Dam. Reinke 2nd, Balog 3rd.

So who all thought that after 3 races into the season, Balog would have no wins and Phillip Mock would have 2? Oh yeah, that would be no one! It's been a great start to the season for the IRA. Balog is still going to be the favorite each night, but I'm thinking there are drivers that are starting to build the confidence that they can compete with him.

Steve Meyer looking really strong this year as well. Reinke looking good. Really wish he could get that monkey off his back and get a win. And how about Scotty Thiel??? He has the most passing points this year and it isnt even close! 15th to 4th at Oshkosh and 19th to 7th at Beaver Dam. Both nights with an ASCS 360. Hope he can get a little better with qualifying, get the luck of the draw and get a starting spot up front. Might get to see another first time 410 winner this year!

This is great for the IRA! Good to see an unpredictable show again! Congrats to Mock!I really hope Rose sticks with the whole season, and gets things clicking soon as well. Also good to see Scotty Thiel doing well... I always said he was going to be the rookie to watch by far this year. Has the most talent between the rookies, with half the budget. Being nearly down 150 horsepower during qualifying is going to hurt, and racing the 1/2 miles... but may be just the right amount come feature time for the majority of IRA tracks. In a large funded operation, he would make it interesting for sure. So far this year, its been worth coming out!

Heard that a piston blew up in the 410 at Oshkosh, but he might not be in as bad of shape as you think. Heard the 410 is done and ready to be put back in the car, just didn't have enough time to get it locked and loaded for Beaver Dam
