I've always been a Kasey Kahne fan long before he made the jump to crapcar. I think crapcar is boring and very uneventful. I've been to 3 of these races, Michigan, Chicago, and Kansas City. Each time leaving a little bit after the half-way point. Round and round for hours with hardly no passing and debris cautions=no fun. Anyway back to my original gripe, I know a lot of people are Kahne fans but before he went to crapcar, nobody seemed to give a rats ass about him. I remember at the 1200lb. nationals in knoxville 2 years in a row he was introduced and on the track and barely cheer for him. Now just because he's in crapcar people like him and the crowd goes nuts when he's introduced. I'm glad for Kasey and glad he's giving back to sprint car racing but quite frankly some of these people really make me sick.

That goes to show the fan support NASCAR or "crapcar" as you call it has Nothing against sprint cars at all cuz i love em but he wasnt really well known until he got to NASCAR. They have marketing campaigns that are amazing and now hes known everywhere even by non race fans and people love him. Just because youre a dirt fan doesnt mean you cant be a NASCAR fan also----these are the top race drivers anywhere in my opinion-----now if they jumped in a dirt car chances are good theyd get their ass handed to them by a dirt driver however the same could be said in reverse--look at Steve Kinser-----didnt do shit in NASCAR or any other circuits he tried but noone is better on dirt than the king. Call it what you want but I doubt theres a single sprint car driver today that would turn down a NASCAR ride if they got the chance.

Have you ever thought that his success in NASCAR has maybe built some sprint car fans?? People that follow him in NASCAR and then hear he'll be racing a sprint car in their small town builds alot of interest-----doesnt mean anyone's jumping on the bandwagon.

Besides, if they are so boring and you keep leaving early from all these "crapcar" races, why do you even bother spending the big bucks for the tickets?
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

Look at the places you went to. But then I go to Texas and everyone says the same about it. I still dig it because it's only 60-70 miles from me and the STOCKYARDS has Pearls.

the money invested to make kasey a star in a lot of peoples minds must have been well spent. any one who gets into the spotlight in the big time and gets plastered all over maketing ads can go from relativly unknown to famous in a hurry. just look at kevin harvick. or jeff gordon. we all who followed kaseys progress in the sport saw him gaining attention. he gained so much attention ray put him in one of his cars. kasey was just a quiet guy with a quite team that just showed up and raced. it seems at times that is what he still wants to do. just quietly show up and race. but for him that is no longer possible. i have seen posts in here the past day slamming him for not running the frc and not playing the superstar part and hanging around for autographs and for not being their for the "fans". well maybe kasey just would like to be kasey and show up and do wtf he wants to at the track sometime. lord knows he prolly does not get the chance in cup. so i hope he just enjoys being a sprint car driver for a few days and hanging out with his spint car friends who don't care if he makes the show or spins out or steps on his you know what.

Great guy. I would love for Kasey to come back to Chico, if only to visit. What a pain in the ass that he can't just go to watch his car. I would be one of the first in line to see him, as he was always such a kind ,pleasant person. Quiet too... I have seen plenty of the top sprint car teams leave early, because of what ever, so he certainly isn't the only one.
