If a driver wins with a Chinese car that is half-price partially because of slave labor, does he get half the advertised purse as well? Many thanks.

Based on how your small little mind works, it would seem you should favor them getting DOUBLE pay, as you cannot understand how a Sprint Car chassis built in China could even hold together for 30 laps! Let this subject die, it is purely a choice. I am sure that if someone came to your house they would have no problem finding stuff that you have purchased that is "Made in China" so just give it a rest.

I have never questioned the Chinese ability to copy our stuff.

The last I checked the choices we make show who we really are. Child labor, foreign and communist vs domestic, liberty and our childrens future? Just a nominal choice huh?

in reality the purse is essentially cut in half regardless...by way of the US Govt, fully owned and operated by the Chi-coms these days.

If a Chinese car were winning races I would own one in a heartbeat. Why would I pay $3000,00 for a winning chassis when I could have one for $1,500.00? You couldn't tell the difference between the two from the grandstands anyway.

If a poster posts with a Chinese computer, can we disregard half the post as well? Many thanks.

I have engaged in this debate many times before on this forum. We do live in a world market today where foreign goods may be equal in all respects. However, when a choice is available when purchasing equipment and parts and some of those choices are American made, the American made should be purchased. The copies that come from China are the result of American tradition, history, research and development and a continuing quest for safer materials and applications. For a foreign manufacture to reproduce these items at our expense is just Wrong. And do I need to mention the slave labor that allows their sales to be less than ours?
CHINA: THE WORLD'S BIGGEST SLAVE LABOR CAMP
Flashback to June 1989. Thousands of Chinese, mostly students, gathered in Tiananmen Square to protest the brutal tyranny they were being forced to live under. They were demanding that their Godless, communist government accept reforms, similar to America's constitution. They were also asking that they be allowed to speak out freely against government oppression, and not be forced to live in fear for doing so. What was the response of the Chinese government? To mercilessly and very publicly murder thousand's of their own people, many of them teenagers.
Flash forward to today. China is now the world's biggest slave labor camp, and America is their number one customer. Has anything changed in China as far as human right's are concerned? Yes. Condition's are worse in China than ever before. Anyone who offers even the slightest dissent is brutally beaten down, and the Chinese people are living in ignorance and fear. And what are America's leaders doing about it? Helping these Godless tyrants amass power and wealth on a scale unimaginable before, and selling us out while they're at it.

Great idea mith, lets pay all winners based on how much they spent on their racecar. A low dollar team wins they get paid less, the guy that spends a fortune on his racing gets paid huge bucks for winning. If you think we are going to change how China does things by simply not buying sprint car chassis you are nuts.

Or American companies too. 99.9% of them outsource parts and pieces to China becuase it's cheaper than American labot (from toys to auto manufacturers to computers to software, etc. etc.).

minthess, I seriously doubt you would turn down the $10K to win if you were the driver and just won a race...in a XXX car.
Get real!!!!!

Let's get something straight. The Chinese government didn't take a sprint car and copy it to undermine the american people. An American company. Owned by Americans contracted with a Chinese company to produce a product they manufacture here in the good old USA. Why because they can do it cheaper. Not because china is trying to take over the world. I'm pretty sure even the Chinese government knows there is no money to be made in sprint car racing. With that everyone take a deep breath and chill the f**k
out.

I believe that most of us understand this, we are just reacting to a constantly revolving post by Mr. M over here. You are completely correct though, there is no money to be made racing a sprint car.

With the sport becoming more spec, common, restricted, generic etc. perhaps we can get the engines built in China as well!

When you commenced your research to purchase the media on which to post messages did you tell anyone you were willing to spend a multiple of two in order to purchase a device manufactured utilizing only components made in the US? Were you willing to increase your expenditure by an additional 150% to purchase a product assembled in the US? If not, you should retrsct your comments.

drivers have been winning with chinese fabricated center sections for 10-15 years or better now, flip your handy , mouse, keyboard, modeum, router, or any other convienant device you use in todays world, and look where it was made, chances are, the scales tech officials use are from china, is that a problem for you? this post is a bit morbid, that horse is dead.
