Which 1/2 mile? No way the Devils Bowl is a half mile. The outide fence there would fit around the inside berm at Knoxville!

Knoxville is larger than a half mile. Devils bowl is Jus a shade under a half. I believe it's 0.48 if memory serves

Knoxville is 1/2 mile around the inside burm and close to 5/8 around the outer fence. The bowl is not a 1/2 mile around the outside fence.
