I hate to proliferate fears, but I'm sure all of you that have access to a computer are looking at the same radar I am. I'm sure they'll do everything they can to get the races in tonight, but if they can't would they run a double-header w/ the nonwing guys tomm... or... ??

You went and did it. You talked to the big pink elephant in the room. Now it'll rain for sure.

I hear ya Rustin, I'm being optimistic here. Who knows, we might get lucky. I can't imagine a day race at Osky with the daytime temps. Maybe a 6:00pm to 6:00am deal on Tueday but the forcast for Tues is even worse. Who needs sleep anyways? Its Nationals week!

I'm thinking that a day show is out... and that they would rather run both shows on Tuesday. But then I was thinking about the guys that are set to qualify on Wednesday. I'm sure they wouldn't want to risk tearing up their stuff 24 hrs before one of the most important nights of the year. Hopefully the wet stuff will miss us... and if it does hit, does it in the next couple hours and gets it out of its system. I wonder if McCarl & McCroskey have any hair left??

Well, it doesn't look good. But it's only 3 and the radar is leaving me optimistic.

It's sunny in San Jose.

The folks who called while they were waiting to get in the infield didn't sound like they were letting any weather bother them.

I don't know how many of you were at the Ultimate Challenge last year, but it poured on us all day. Everything turned into a mud pit. We basically just set up our cars for a wet track under a tarp and waited. We got started after the rain finally let up and ran the entire race. It ended up being a great one! McTwo isn't afraid of a little rain. They know most of the fans and teams are here for the long haul this week, so getting the race over at a certain time is not an issue. Unless it is non-stop rain through Wednesday morning, these races will run.

It's 10 after 5 here in Des Moines. I just finished work and I see patches of blue sky here in Des Moines and have since about 4. Also, it didn't rain all that much here it didnt look like to me.

I won't be able to make it, so you guys that are going there, have a good time and be safe!
