TERRE HAUTE RACE WASHED OUT ON SUNDAY

Terre Haute, IN - April 27, 2014 - The “Spring Fling” scheduled to be
held Sunday evening April 27th at the Terre Haute Action Track was
called off when rain moved in over the fairgrounds about a half hour
before warm-ups for the sprint cars were to begin.
The program was to be the opening race for the 2014 King of Indiana
Sprint Series.  It was to be run as a co-operative venture with the
Midwest Sprint Car Series.  MSCS had already held two races this
season and the drivers were looking forward to a third event to close
out April.
There is a possibility that a make-up date could be announced.
Series and track officials will be conferring.  Watch for
announcements in case that the race this race is rescheduled for the
Action Track.
The KISS Series will be very active in May with 6 races scheduled.
MSCS will be inactive until May 23rd.  MSCS will be at Bloomington
Speedway for the Josh Burton Memorial that Friday.  KISS will be
racing at Bloomington on May 2nd.
