I'm cool with that. Just saying I enjoyed watching him race. He was fun to watch.

You're not the only one. He was great on the track. Unfortunately he's put himself in a position that he dosen't belong on a track right now. Hopeful he can rid himself of his addiction and we can see him race again.

Tyler Walker was one hell of a good sprint car driver. Too bad he let the dope get to his head, literally.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but Walker on his best day was nowhere near the caliber of Larson.  Also, Larson was much better known for winning non-wing.   Not really sure how he's anyone's best winged driver....

Sorry to burst your misconception of Kyle Larson. Kyle grew up winning races with a wing over his head since he was in grade school. Only fans not from the west would think of him as a non-winged sprint car specialist. The kid drove non winged because the opportunity was there and it provided another avenue to test his skills against the best.  We know how that turned out.

Tyler Walker was a great talent in sprint cars as well and I too miss watching him display his skills in a winged sprint car. News flash... he used to win races all over the country.  His life problems don't delete the fact he was once one of the best in the country. I quess what I'm saying is you don't have a clue how anyone sees things but yourself.

I still remember the 1st time i saw Tyler race. it was an allstar race at lincoln. i think it was 1995 or 96. lance dewease and tyler put on a great show. side by side lap after lap. lance won but wow. he was only 16 or 17. talked to him the next night at the track and he was always willing to talk to fans. i got to know him a little and everytime he saw me he made a point to say hi. yes he has had his problems but for the most part he was always nice to the fans. some drivers wont give you the time of day. i hope he gets his act together and races again. he is only in his mid 30s. plenty of good years left.

Last time I saw Tyler was a few years back at the Chili Bowl -- he was just there watching and was wearing a T-shirt that said "Love to Hate Me - Hate to Love Me" ... and I thought that shirt fit him perfectly.

I still remember a few years back at Grandview Speedway when he drove for Keen, he destroyed a car in hot laps then destroyed the competition the rest of the night with a whole different car.

I know to some he will always be the devil, but I miss him out there too.  Just like others have said, Tyler was always nice to me in the pits, be it in California when he was just a young kid racing a second black and white Airsep car with his dad, to Ohio at the Mopar Million or King's Royal. It's a shame about the decisions he chose to make that put himw where he is now. I wish him the best.

His heat race charge has been mentioned at the Mopar Million, but what about the lap he put down in qualifying??  The track was slick and slowing down... and he came out and flat footed it... got 2nd or 3rd quick... pretty incredible!  He was damn fun to watch... hope he can get things turned around!

He split Stevie Smith and somebody else in turn 3 at Eldora that was the single greatest pass I ever saw and I saw plenty....

I'm with you Chilly, I hope he can turn his life around and get back on the right track.  It's a shame to see such talent being wasted away.
